Appreciation ceremony for IUB students who secured third position in All Punjab Drama Competition in Lahore

Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar, Vice-Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur has said that Performing Art Society Directorate of Student Affairs is playing an exemplary role to highlight social reform and positive message. The Vice-Chancellor expressed these views during a meeting with Director Students Affairs Prof. Dr. Abdul Rauf, Additional Director Students Affairs Adnan Bukhari and Advisor Performing Art Society Agha Sadaf Mehdi and his team. The Performing Art Society of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur recently bagged the third position in the All Punjab Drama Competition organized by the Punjab Institute of Languages, Arts and Culture. 18 universities participated in this competition and the Seraiki drama (Asaan Te Bus Tedde Naukar Aan) by the team of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur was awarded the third position and given a special trophy and cash prize. On this occasion, the Vice-Chancellor along with the Director of Students Affairs distributed certificates to all the students who participated in the play. Dr. Abida Noreen, Jahanjaib Rahmat, Ali Raza, Rashid Khurshid were present on this occasion.

بہاول پور (پ) پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نوید اختر وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور نے کہا ہے کہ پرفارمنگ آرٹ سوسائٹی ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف سٹوڈنٹس افیئرز معاشرتی اصلاح اور مثبت پیغام کو اجاگر کرنے کے لیے مثالی کردار ادا کر رہی ہے۔ وائس چانسلر نے ان خیالات کا اظہار ڈائریکٹر سٹوڈنٹس افیئرز پروفیسر ڈاکٹر عبد الرؤف، ایڈیشنل ڈائریکٹر سٹوڈنٹس افیئرز عدنان بخاری اور ایڈوائزر پرفارمنگ آرٹ سوسائٹی آغا صدف مہدی اور ان کی ٹیم سے ملاقات کے دوران کیا۔ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کی پرفارمنگ آرٹ سوسائٹی نے حال ہی میں پنجاب انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف لینگوئجز آرٹ اور کلچر کے زیر اہتمام آل پنجاب ناٹک مقابلہ جات میں تیسری پوزیشن حاصل کی۔ اس مقابلے میں 18 جامعات نے حصہ لیا اور اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کی ٹیم کے سرائیکی ڈرامے (اساں تے بس تیڈے نوکر آں) کو تیسری پوزیشن کا حق دار قرار دیتے ہوئے خصوصی ٹرافی اور نقد انعام دیا گیا۔ وائس چانسلر نے اس موقع پر ڈائریکٹر سٹوڈنٹس افیئرز کے ہمراہ ڈرامے میں حصہ لینے والے تمام طلباء وطالبات میں سرٹیفکیٹ تقسیم کیے۔ اس موقع پر ڈاکٹر عابدہ نورین، جہازیب رحمت، علی رضا، راشد خورشید موجود تھے۔
