About

I had the opportunity to raise this department from a scratch in the year 2000 that proved to be the first ever in the entire South Punjab.

Since then, following milestones have been achieved by this department which make this department one of the best and large among the universities of the country;

1. Start of M.Sc in Applied Psychology (2000)
2. Establishment of Psychological Testing Lab (2001)
3. Start of M. Phil (2003)
4. Start of BS (Hons) 2009
5. Start of ADCP (Advance Diploma in Counseling Psychology) 2010
6. Establishment of the Counseling Centre (2010)
7. Approval of ADCP (Advance Diploma in Clinical Psychology)
8. Start of PhD (2017)

For so many years I have worked as an Incharge/HoD of this department, I am still eager to put my maximum efforts in the development of this department in particular and for the University at large.

1. PhD fellowship from Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.
2. IRSIP Award (International Research Support Initiative Program) by the Higher Education of Commission of Pakistan for USA.
3. Role of Honor from graduate college being distinguished sportsman and holding best academic positions in higher secondary school, and graduation studies.
