Hafiz Muhammad Asif has earned his Ph. D in Eastern Medicine (Clinical Methods & Therapeutics) from Hamdard University Karachi in 2013, and M. Phil In Eastern Medicine (Clinical Methods & Therapeutics) from Hamdard University Karachi in 2010. He has earned B.E.M.S (Bachelor of Eastern Medicine and Surgery) from Islamia University Bahawalpur in 2007.

Ph. D research work was carried out on “Quadruple therapy for the management of treating Helicobacter pylori infection with herbal and conventional medicines.

Currently serving as Assistant Professor and In-Charge University College of Conventional Medicine, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur.

Previously served as Assistant Professor (TTS) in the department of Eastern Medicine and Surgery, The University of Poonch, Rawalakot, AJ&K from March 2014 to January 31^st 2016 and Assistant Director, Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), The University of Poonch, Rawalakot, AJ&K from Nov. 2012 to January 2016

1^st Expert Member Unani/Herbal Medicine for Enlistment Evaluation Committee (EEC) in Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP), Ministry of National Health Services, Regulation and Coordination Pakistan
