About

Dr. Mian Muhammad Khubaib Sattar holds D.V.M. and M. Phil. (Microbiology) from University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan. His M. Phil dissertation was “production, purification and evaluation of anti-tetanus serum”. He joined Department of Microbiology, University College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UCV&AS), The Islamia University of Bahawalpur as Lecturer on 11th February, 2013. He has been involved in teaching and research of undergraduate students of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.). Meanwhile, he was member of internship committee of D.V.M. undergraduate program from 11th September, 2013 to 1st June, 2016. Moreover, he was In-charge estate care, member of purchase committee and Focal Person for Prime Minister Laptop Scheme of UCV&AS, IUB. Furthermore, he was Co-Advisor of IUB Sports Society (2019-20). Recently, Dr. Khubaib has been promoted as Assistant Professor in the Department of Microbiology (w.e.f. 02-01-2021). Nowadays,he is on study leave for his PhD studies in the field of Microbiology. He is the first Scholar in the field of Veterinary Sciences to avail the scholarship entitled“Faculty Development Program (Indigenous) for Pakistani Universities, Batch-I”.Dr. Khubaib has attended many seminars, workshops and sciences conferences. He has organized different training workshops during the course of his professional journey.

General Microbiology, Immunology, Bacteriology, Mycology, Viral diseases especially Zoonotic and Oncogenic Viruses, Molecular Biology, Anaerobic Microbes, One Health and Biosafety.
