About

MUHAMMAD SALMAN was born in March 1984 in a village 88/F of the tehsil Hasilpur, district Bahawalpur, Punjab, Pakistan. He received his M. Sc. degree in mathematics form The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan, in 2006. He Completed M. Phil. in mathematics with the distinction form the Center of Advanced Studies in Pure and Applied Mathematics (CASPAM), Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan, Pakistan, in 2009. In 2016, He received the Gold Medal as an award of the distinction got in M. Phil. He received the Ph. D. degree in the field of Graph Theory form CASPAM, Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan, in 2015. Since November 2017, he is serving with the Department of Mathematics, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan, as an Assistant Professor.

Research Interests

Main area of research is Graph Theory and Combinatorics. In this area, I am working on distances in graphs, algebraic graph theory, spectral graph theory, chemical graph theory and fuzzy graph theory, to enhance the theory of facility location problems and graph labeling.
