About

Muhammad Nawaz Abbasi received the degree of B.E Electronic Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology Karachi in 1992. He served as Site Engineer in Telecom Foundation Lahore for about one year and then was selected as Senior Instructor Electronics through Punjab Public Service Commission Lahore and served as Senior Instructor Electronics at Govt. College of Technology Bahawalpur. He joined PTCL as Assistant Divisional Engineer (BPS-17) on regular basis. He was promoted as Divisional Engineer in BPS-18 on 21-03-2002. He rendered his services as Divisional Engineer Phones, Senior Engineer Transmission Operation, Senior Engineer Wireless Operation and the Senior Manager Network Operation. He did M.S Telecom from National Postgraduate Institute of Telecom & Informatics, Islamabad (affiliated with UET Taxila) in 2001-03. He has passed MBA-Marketing Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad in 2011. He has got many professional and soft skill trainings. He has 19 years and 05 months diversified experience in PTCL and February 10, 2016 was his last working day with PTCL as Senior Manager Bahawalpur. He joined IUB on February 11, 2016 as Assistant Professor in Electronic Engineering department and is serving in the faculty of Engineering. He is also industrial Liaison officer in faculty of Engineering.

Research Interests

His research interests are Wireless Communication, Antena Design, Optical Fiber Communication, Computer Communication Networks.
