Dr. Tauseef ur Rehman is Associate Professor and Chairman Department of Parasitology. He received his PhD in 2013 from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. Recently Dr. Rehman has completed his Postdoc fellowship from Cornell University, USA. He has also worked as Visiting Assistant Professor at Cornell University, USA. He has held successive positions at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur since 2013.

During his postdoctoral fellowship, he worked on development of online diagnostic platform (FECPACK G2) in conjunction with Techion company for fecal parasites which is first of its kind in world. Dr. Tauseef ur Rehman got certifications of various expertise of his field from Cornell University, USA; American Consortium for Small Ruminant Parasite Control, USA; The Center for Agriculture and Food Security and Preparedness, University of Tennessee, USA; Selcuk University, Turkey and University of Agriculture, Faislabad. Besides research, He has been actively involved in extension education services to farmers. He got opportunity to train farmers, veterinary students and extension educators with Cornell Extension Education, Sheep Production Parasite Lab, Cornell University and American Consortium for Small Ruminant Parasite Control.

Research Interests

Dr Tauseef ur Rehman has good publication record which is highly cited by other scientists. He was awarded with Top Cited Research Paper Award by University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. His research focus on epidemiology/ control of ruminant parasites, antiparasitic efficacy of Cholistani plants and anthelmintic resistance.

Awards and Honors

He was awarded Postdoctoral Research Fellowship by Punjab Higher Education Commission for research in Cornell University, USA. He received coveted prize by University of Agriculture, Faisalabad on top cited research paper.
