About

I, Abu Bakar Muhammad Raza did my Ph.D. in Entomology from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (Pakistan) in 2008. I also completed post-doctoral research training in Entomology from Imperial College London (UK) in March, 2013. I have 22 years of teaching and research experience in my field. At present, I am serving as Professor in Entomology at Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan. Previously, I served as Associate Professor at University of Sargodha. I also served as Principal College of Agriculture and Chairman Department of Entomology at University of Sargodha.

Research Interests

Systematics and Acarology, Biodiversity and Taxonomy of Insects and Mites, Biological Control of Field Crop Insect Pests by using different Parasitoids (Braconids species), Bee keeping and effect of different plantations in honey production and correspondingly the honey bees on pollination.
