About

Dr. Anita Shuja is an Assistant Professor at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Punjab Pakistan. She has been affiliated for most of the time as Principal in Pakistan Army & Pakistan Navy Schools. She is a silver medalist of her Masters' Program. She has been awarded “Maintaining best culture and ethos” as principal, declared the best Section Head of Army School at Gilgit Baltistan, secured the second position in Punjab, Pakistan in Montessori teachers training from Pakistan Montessori Council (PMC), working under the auspices of The Ministry of Labour and Manpower Development, Pakistan

Research Interests

She conducted qualitative research on the topic; “Perspectives on the Educational Prospects of CPEC in Pakistan” A case study in her Ph.D.  She completed her research in “Analysis of the Attitude of Students in getting Admission in Female University at District Bahawalpur, Pakistan, in her MPhil, in mixed paradigm. Also had publications on:

“Hidden Curriculum in Schools: A Comparison of Religious Otherness in Pakistani ELT Textbooks”,

“Investigating the Drivers and Future Paradigms of Social Entrepreneurship in Developing Countries: Empirical Study of Pakistan”,

“Global Effects of COVID-19 Educationally and Various Strategies to Minimize the Academic Loss,” and

“Listening with Innovative Methods in Education A Study for ESL Learners’ of University Level”.

Her research interest also includes teaching and learning, educational planning and management, Pakistan’s education system, and role of ICT in education.

Awards and Honors

1.Silver Medal holder in MA Education from KIU Gilgit Baltistan.

2.Award of “Maintaining Best Ethos & Culture” in her institution from Regional Director 31 Corps (Pakistan Army) in 2017.

3.The best Section Head of Gilgit Baltistan by APS&ACS (Army Public Schools and Colleges System) team in September 2012.

4.A letter of appreciation from the Head of the Department of Education Professor Dr. Jillian Taylor on securing the second position in the Department.

5.Secured Second position in 1 Year Montessori Teacher’s Training Diploma at the provincial level in Punjab.
