Profile Summary

Dr. Arslan completed his PhD. from the Department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Pharmacy, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur in 2021. Dr. Arslan has vast experience in diabetes and its associated complications with special emphasis on diabetic nephropathy. He has also done various toxicity studies, including in-vitro and in-vivo analyses. He is currently serving as Assistant Professor of Pharmacology in Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi Post Graduate Medical College, Faculty of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Bahawalpur, Pakistan.

 

His current area of research is,

1) Exploration of the role of hydrogen sulfide in diabetic animals.

2) Role of renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system and oxidative stress in diabetic nephropathy.
