Profile Summary

Dr. Dawood Nawaz is serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Public Administration, IUB and takes pride being a youngest (aged 28) PhD in Public Administration. He is HEC Approved PhD Supervisor since February 2022. He did his PhD in Public Administration from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), Malaysia. Before doing his PhD, he did his Masters in Public Administration (MPA) with the specialisation of Public Policy and M. Phil in Public Administration from the Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) Multan. He got distinction during his Master degree. He taught as a Visiting Lecturer in the Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) Multan, Institute of Southern Punjab (ISP) Multan and Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture (MNSUAM) Multan. He has more than 15 publications in national and international journals. Moreover, he has attended various national and international conferences, training workshops and symposia. He is pioneer in starting the MS Public Administration degree program at IUB in 2022. He is teaching the courses; Public Administration, Advanced Research Methods, Organizational Theory & Public Management, Enterprise Resource Planning in Operations & Supply Chain Management, Principles of Public Finance, State, Society & Civic Engagement, Compensation, Incentive & Corporate Governance at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. He is rendering his services as the member of Editorial Review Boards and Reviewers’ Panels of esteemed academic journals in his fields of interest. His areas of interest include public administration, public health, public policy, public management, women and gender studies, organisational psychology, leadership, politics and political economy, and good governance. He is also entrusted with the responsibilities at DPA as Incharge Examinations, Departmental Timetable Incharge, Focal Person for the Journal of Policy, Administration & Governance, Departmental Focal Person for Academic Affairs, Member of the Departmental Board of Studies. He is also rendering his services at IUB as a Faculty Focal Person for Career Counselling and Placement Center (CCPC); Co-advisor of Skills and Career Society 2022-23; Member of the IUB Publication Committee 2022-23; and Member of the Committee to Establish Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Wall IUB.
