About

Dr. Muhammad Hashim was born in Bahawalpur. He did Bachelor and Master from The Islamia University Bahawalpur. He was awarded Cultural Exchange Scholarship by Ministry of Education of Pakistan in 2012 for Ph.D study. He completed his PhD in 2012 from Chongqing University, China with major Condensed Matter Physics. He was awarded Honor Graduate Certificate (Foreign Students) due to excellent academic performance in PhD study.  After completing PhD, He came back to Pakistan and Joined Department of Applied Physics, Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST), Islamabad as Assistant Professor. He worked in FUUAST for about three years.He Joined Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology (KFUEIT) Rahim Yar Khan on 30^th July 2015 as Assistant Professor Physics, where he worked as Head of Department of Basic Sciences and Humanities, Head of Department of Physics, Super Focal Person of PM/CM Laptop Scheme, Director Scholarship and Financial Assistance Department. He worked in KFUEITfor about 05 years. Later on, Hejoined, Institute of Physics (IOP), The Islamia University Bahawalpur (IUB) on October 9, 2020. Presently, He is working in IOP, as Associate Professor of Physics.

Research Interests

Nanomaterials synthesis via different approach particularly hydrothermal method and composite molten salt method and study of their properties.

Characterization techniques used: XRD, SEM, EDS, FESEM, TEM, HRTEM, XPS, SAED.
