About

My name is Dr. Ghulam Yasin. I have completed my Ph.D. degreein 2018 with thesis entitled “Assessment of carbon stocks and potentials of carbon sequestration in agroforestry systems in selected districts of Punjab, Pakistan”in the field of forestry from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan. I have 4 years’ experience in a survey based project under semi-arid climate to know the farmer perceptions about agroforestry and the role of agroforestry in climate change mitigation. So far, I have fifteen publications in well reputed impacted journals and 9 others have been submitted.Though, during my Ph.D. I have estimated the role of agroforestry in climate change mitigation through carbon stocks and sequestration, However, to me that is a very basic work and therefore, I am intrested to further explore the role of forest especially agroforests and plantations in climate change mitigation by using some models and advance techniques.
