Profile Summary

I have completed my graduation, MSc, MPhil and PhD in Biochemistry from University of Agriculture Faisalabad. I have served as junior research officer at Food Technology Section, Ayub Agricultural Research Institute, Faisalabad. I have served as Lecturer (Biochemistry) at Independent Medical college, Faisalabad and was promoted as AP after completion of my PhD. I worked as AP (Biochemistry) on IPFP at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur for one year. Currently I am serving as Assistant Professor (Biochemistry) on BPS at The department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Institute of Biochemistry, Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, IUB. My key research domain is enzyme and biofuel production from agro-industrial wastes by employing various microbes including becterial, fungal and yeast strains. Currently I and my research group is working on production of various novel enzymes of clinical and industrial worth by using agro-industrial wastes. We are also working on Bio-ethanol and Bio-diesel production by using locally available plants and agricultural waste.
