About

Dr. Irfan Ahmed holds D.V.M. and M. Phil. (Animal Nutrition) from University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan. His M. Phil dissertation was “Effect of Enzymatic Complex on Growth Performance of Broilers at Different Dietary Levels of Wheat”. He graduated from Yunnan Agricultural University, Kunming China in Animal Nutrition and Feed Sciences in 2019. He joined Department of Animal Nutrition, University College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UCV&AS), The Islamia University of Bahawalpur as Assistant Professor on 11^th January, 2021.

Poultry nutrition, Ruminant Nutrition, Feeding management, Feed formulation

1. Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council, Nutritionist Association of Pakistan.

2. Awarded with laptop based on merit under “Shahbaz Sharif Youth Initiative” by Government of Punjab in year 2012.

3. He was awarded with Chinese Government Scholarship 2015 for PhD studies in Yunnan Agricultural University, Kunming China.

4. Outstanding contribution in Reviewing awarded by the Physiological and Molecular Plant Elsevier journal in July 2018.

5. Chinese Language Learning HSK-5certified.
