Profile Summary

Mobeen Shahroz is a Lecturer in the Department of Artificial Intelligence at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB), where he completed his Ph.D. in 2024. He earned his MS in Computer Science in 2020 and his MCS in 2018 from the Department of Computer Science at Khawaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology (KFUEIT) in Rahim Yar Khan, Pakistan. 


He has also worked as a Research Assistant at the Fareed Computing and Research Center, KFUEIT, and the Sir Sadiq Research and Computing Center, IUB. His research interests span diverse fields including the Internet of Things (IoT), AI-embedded IoT, medical image classification, bioinformatics, DNA next-generation sequencing, natural language processing (NLP), text classification, machine learning, and deep learning.

As the Departmental Coordinator for the Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC), He plays a pivotal role in encouraging students to develop IoT based projects, leveraging Python programming and Artificial Intelligence. He is dedicated to fostering an innovative environment and provides substantial support for the annual AI project exhibition, where he helps students showcase their cutting-edge work and gain valuable exposure.  Additionally, he performs crucial duties as the Departmental Coordinator for Final Year Project Management,

His major research contributions focus on clustering optimization, neural networks with Hierarchical Attention Modules (HAM), genetic algorithms, HAM-based human sensual analysis using text opinion, transformers, and advancements in IoT security through deep learning models.
