Profile Summary

Dr Mudassar Mohiuddin is currently an Associate Professor at Department of Microbiology, FV & AS, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan. Besides having Post-doctorate from China in 2021, he successfully accomplished one year Talented Young Scientist Program owned by Ministry of Science and Technology, China. These accomplishments have added to his credit over 12 years of experience in teaching and research both at national and international levels. His research outcomes have been published in renowned research journals namely Toxins, BMC Veterinary Research, Microorganisms, Gut pathogens,  Microbial pathogenesis, toxin reviews, frontiers in veterinary science etc. He has  supervised six MPhil students as Supervisor by 2024. He has been invited speaker to various international conferences and has shared his research experiences and findings. His research activities has been focused on microbiology, bacteriology, antimicrobial resistance and finding alternative strategies to control increasing AMR through use of probiotics, bacteriophages etc. He has also experience of working on vaccine production, cell culture and molecular biology.
