Dr. Muhammad Shahzad Shifa is a committedand a capable researcher. Ever seeking a supervisory role. He is associated with Department of Physics, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, for last 22 years. He did his, MSC, MPhil leading to PhD (2012) from the same department, now Institute of Physics, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. His PhD supervisor was Prof. Dr. Muhammad ShahidNaweed. He is working currently as an Associate of the Physics, The Institute of Physics.

He hasavast experience of teachingand research in higher education. Hehas been worked onTTS and also remained as a course coordinator of MPhil classes. He has supervised MPhil students in field nano ferrites Physics. He is presently workingon several multidisciplinary projects.

Research Interests

1- Computer Vision/ Computer Graphics/Image Analysis using texture Analysis.

2- Nano Ferrites/ Magnetic Materials/ Nanotechnology/ Advance Bio Sensors

3- Agri. and Bio Computational Physics /Green House Managements

4- Established Computational Physics Lab in USTB and Nano ferrites Synthesis and Texture Analysis Lab, in Department of Physics, Government College University, Faisalabad.

5- Nowadaysestablished collaboration with NCP Islamabad, USTBannu, GCU Faisalabad, ICU Peshawar, and KFUEIT Rahim Yar Khan.

Awards and Honors

1-First time introduced and worked on hand held remote sensing using MSR-5 in Pakistan

2- Pioneer  work on MRS-5 data and texture analysis

3- Working on nano-materials& nano-ferrites/ advance composites

4- He remained member of admission committee and member of departmental procurement committee

5-  He remained departmental MPhil section controller examination

6- He is also member of Member of Ibn e Sina Thalassemia Curing Society, BVH, Bahawalpur.
