Profile Summary

Naseem Ahmad Khan is the faculty members of Institute of Chemistry, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur. He completed his MSc in Chemistry from The Islamia University of Bahawalpur in 2018 with Goldmedlist distinction, and M.Phil. Chemistry from same institute and university in 2020 with thesis title, “Synthesis and Characterization of Graphene Oxide and Prussian Blue Analogues Composites for Water Purification”. Now, he is doing Ph.D. Chemistry from Institute of Chemistry, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur from 2020 under the research project of “Synthesis of Polyaniline decorated materials for water purification”. He has published over 10 research articles with research impact factor greater than 65 in prominent journals including Coordination chemistry review, The chemical record, Material physics and chemistry, Applied clay science, Toxin Reviews, Materials science and engineering: B, and Journal of electroanalytical chemistry. His primary research interests include synthesis and applications of Polymer, Metal Organic Frameworks (MOFs) and Covalent Organic Frameworks (COFs) for environmental remediation, catalysis, biomedical sciences, and renewable energy applications. Besides this Mr. Khan also attended various international and national conferences like, 1st International Conference on Climate changes & Biodiversity (IC3B-2017), The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, 18th International Chemistry & 30th National Conference on Recent Trends in Chemistry- CCUMT-2019, 1st and 2nd STEMS International Conference, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (2021, and 2022) Organized by Directorate of International Linkages and 1st International Conference on Emerging Trends in Physics ICEPT-2022, 23-24 May, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur and presented their papers. Mr. Khan is also the life time member of chemical society of Pakistan. Mr. Khan is locking for effective research collaborations with the leading research groups within the country and outside the country in the research area of Synthesis and Applications of Polymer, MOFs and COFs Based Materials.
