Profile Summary

I've joined the Islamia University Bahawalpur in 2022 as lecturer in the department of Medical Laboratory Technology and I'm engaged in teaching of BS MLT courses. My educational journey started from Bahawalpur, where I completed Bachelors in Medical Laboratory technology from Quaid-e-Azam Medical College/UHS in 2016. I completed MS (Microbiology & Immunology from COMSATS University Islamabad in 2018. In 2019, I started working as Lecturer at Rashid Latif Khan University, Lahore. Later on, I was promoted as senior lecturer and course coordinator of the Department of Medical Laboratory Technology and worked at RLKU till 2022. Along with that I got enrolled in PhD (Microbiology & Immunology) in 2020. My major research areas are microbiology/virology and Immunogenetics and the purpose of my research is to study and understand the disease pathogenesis and find therapeutic targets to cure diseases. Currently, I'm working on dengue infection, Typhoid fever and Hepatitis. I've teaching and practical experience in the field of Microbiology, Immunology, Serology, Chemical Pathology, Haematology and Blood Banking. I'm a result-oriented and focused academician/researcher with a collaborative attitude of sharing expertise and learning new skills.
