Profile Summary

Shaheer is a dedicated educator and entrepreneurship expert currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Institute of Business, Management and Administrative Sciences (IBMAS), The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB). With over a decade of experience in community development, social entrepreneurship, education, and project management, Shaheer brings a wealth of knowledge to his teaching and research. He holds a PhD in Management Sciences, with a focus on Entrepreneurship, and has a strong passion for fostering innovation and business development.

Previously, he served as Program Manager at the Executive Training Center at IUB and as a Lecturer in the Department of Management Sciences at Khawaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology (KFUEIT), where he also managed the university’s Business Incubation Center. Shaheer’s leadership extends to the nonprofit sector, where he led a social enterprise model as Regional Head for South Punjab under a joint project of the Ministry of Education and Children’s Global Networks – Pakistan.

His contributions to the field have earned him numerous accolades, including the International Business Proposal Project Award by U.S. X-Culture and the Best Startup Plan Award by the Chief Minister of Punjab in 2012. Notably, Shaheer was selected for the prestigious Tabeer Project, a U.S. Exchange Program, upon the recommendation of LUMS and the U.S. Consulate General Lahore. This opportunity allowed him to explore the entrepreneurship ecosystem of the USA, including key hubs such as Silicon Valley, California, Boston, and New York.

Shaheer is deeply committed to volunteering and community development, having started his career as a volunteer and continuing his engagement in volunteer development initiatives. His extensive experience across the nonprofit, academic, and entrepreneurial sectors, combined with his international exposure, positions him as a dynamic figure in the advancement of entrepreneurship education and ecosystem development.
