Profile Summary

Dr. Shahzad Mahmood is currently working as Lecturer of Gender Studies. He joined the program in 2022 as Lecturer. Dr. Shahzad Mahmood has done Master in Gender Studies with distinction ( Gold Medal) from Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan. He has completed M.Phil degree in Gender Studies with distinction ( Gold Medal) from BZU Multan. He has done Ph.D. in Gender Studies From BZU Multan with influential research work. His Area of Research in Ph.D. " Archaeological Study Of Gender Roles In changing Structure of Society: Pre and Post Colonial Experiences of Punjab, Pakistan. He has worked on projects under the USAID, HEC, and British Council From 2012 to 2015. He also worked On a Research Project with The Royal Hollow way the University of London.

Show project

The project is based on GBV, launched in December 2012 by the Department of Gender Studies, Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan under the auspices of the USAID, the Aurat Foundation and Asia Foundation. This project of GBV is being executed under the Gender Equity Program, aiming at to close the gender gap in Pakistan by proactively supporting the development of women.
