Profile Summary

Mr.Sibtain Yasir joined this department as a lecturer on a regular basis in August 2022. He completed his Master's and M.phil in Gender Studies in 2010 & 2013 respectively from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan with distinction (Gold Medalist). His Ph.D. thesis on the subject of Gender Studies has been submitted under the title “Cultural Embodiment of Women: A Study of Siraiki Region of Pakistan” to the examination department of Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan for further process. He has a rich experience of teaching as a visiting lecturer at Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan. He has also been engaged with USAID and British Council-funded research projects carried out by the Department of Gender Studies, Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan. His areas of interest are Feminist Theories, Feminist Literature, Gender, and Human Rights, Feminist Research Methods, and Feminist and Cultural Anthropology.
