Profile Summary

Sufyan Asif is passionate towards Mathematics and latest trends in the world arising among different fields of mathematics. As far his qualification is concerned, he received his M.Sc. and M.Phil. degrees from Department of Mathematics, University of the Punjab, Lahore. He is also pursuing his PhD from the University of the Punjab, Lahore under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Khalid Mahmood. He has achieved many scholarships throughout his student career.  As far his professional career is concerned, he started his teaching career in 2019 at Institute of Administrative Sciences (IAS), University of the Punjab Lahore as a part time lecturer. He served there for about two years. Further he extended his scholarly services to Pak-American Institute of Management Sciences, Lahore. Then he joined Military college Murree (MCM) as a civil lecturer (BPS-17). But the quest to explore more was still present. Then he selected as a lecturer (BPS-17) Mathematics in Higher Education Department through Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) as well as lecturer (BPS-18) Mathematics at The Islamia University Bahawalpur, Baghdad-ul-Jadeed Campus in September 2022. But he preferred to became a part of The Islamia University of Bahawalpur. Also, he was the one who ranked first in written examination of The Islamia university of Bahawalpur for the recruitment of lecturer among all the candidates at that time . Many of his research articles are published and submitted in well reputed international journals. His research interests include Number theory, Modular Theory, Algebra, Graph Theory and Fuzzy Mathematics.
