About

I was born and raised in a small village of District Vehari, Tehsil Burewala, and got a school education from a village and sophomore at Govt. college Burewala. I got a bachelor’s degree from BZU, Multan, MSc. with distinction (silver medalist) from Centre for High Energy Physics, Punjab University Lahore, and MPhil/PhD from Institute of Physics (IOP), The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB). I also serve as a Research Assistant at the Semiconductors and Nanotechnology Lab, with five years research experience in materials science and engineering and Visiting Lecturer at the IOP, IUB. I would like to work in a well-reputed organization among the best professionals and in a challenging atmosphere that offers enormous chances of growth and further facilitates my abilities to help the organization to reach its strategic goals.

Research Interests

My key interest is in materials science and engineering including fundamental, theoretical, and applied research analysis of nanomaterials and their heterostructured nanocomposites for various application including Optical (Photonics, Optoelectronics), Energy Conversion (Photo/electro water-splitting), Environmental Remediation (Photocatalysis), Energy Storage Devices (Supercapacitors/Batteries), Sensing Devices (Bio/Chemical Sensors) as well as for Biomedical and Magnetic/Dielectric/Thermoelectric applications. I also have hands-on experience in nanomaterials/semiconductors synthesis techniques, including Sol-gel, Co-precipitation, Hydrothermal, Micro-emulsion, Green Chemistry, Wet-chemical, Auto-combustion, Thermal evaporation, Spin coating, and Solid-state Methods and characterization techniques including X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Raman spectroscopy, UV-visible, Photoluminescence spectroscopy (PL), Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET), X-Ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS), Current-Voltage measurements (IV), Hall measurements, scanning electron microscope (SEM), Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM), Energy Dispersive X-Ray Analysis (EDX), Transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Scanning Transmission electron microscopy (STEM), Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM), Total Oxygen Demand (TOD), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), and Electrochemical Workstation., etc. I am interested in improving the properties of Metal oxides, Ceramics, Alloys, Polymers, Perovskites, Composites, sulfides, chalcogenides materials by gaining specific Morphology, Structural Variation, Energy bandgap tuning, Mono/Co/Dual-doping, coupling with other materials, Heterostructured formation, by coupling with Graphene Oxide (GO), Reduced Graphene Oxide (rGO), Fullerene-C60, Carbon Nanotubes, Graphite Carbon Nitride (g-C₃N₄), MXenes, and Conducting Polymers, etc.
