Umar Farooq Shafi is working as Lecturer in the Department of Computer Sciences, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan.

He is currently doing Ph.D. in Computer Science

He received his MCS and MSCS degree from Department of Computer Science and Information Technology, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Punjab, Pakistan, in 2010 and 2019, respectively.

He is Incharge Alumni Affairs for Faculty of Computing.

His research work is published in well reputed high-impact International Journals.
