Mr. Muhammad Usman is serving the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, IBBB, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, as Lecturer since September 2022. He obtained BS and MS degrees in Biochemistry and Biotechnology from The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan. Currently, he is enrolled as PhD scholar in the Department of Biotechnology, IUB. His research focuses on Molecular Biology of Cancer including A) Identification of novel molecular markers in the liquid-biopsies, tissue and blood samples to aid in early-on diagnosis and therapeutic monitoring of various malignancies (colorectal cancer and leukemias) and pathophysiological states, B) Molecular mechanisms leading to drug resistance in different cancers.
