About

Dr. Zaffar Malik is working as Assistant Professor in Department of Soil Science, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan from February, 2015. He has completed his Masters and PhD degrees from Zhejiang University (ranked 34 in the world), Hangzhou, China. He was awarded cultural exchange scholarship (2005) for his MS degree. Later, he won Zhejiang University outstanding student scholarship (2010) for his PhD. He is working on different aspect of soil science including soil physics, soil pollution and its mitigation through organic amendments (Biochar). He has published more than 30 articles in well reputed journals with high impact factor. Dr. Zaffar Malik has also published many book chapters and review articles. He has completed HEC projects as PI and CoPI. He has also supervised B.SC and MSC students. Currently, many undergraduate and graduate students are pursuing their degree in his supervision.
He is the member of Soil Science Society of Pakistan and American Society of Soil Science. He has participated in several national and international conferences. He has always strived for the best and motivated to do good for his community and his country.
