Book launching ceremony of renowned writer Dr. Idrees Ahmad Aftab’s book Farishtey ki FIR (Part Two)

The Islamia University of Bahawalpur embarks literary ceremonies in its campuses continuously to infiltrate literature and research among its students. In continuation of its literary traditions a book launching ceremony of renowned writer Dr. Idrees Ahmad Aftab’s book Farishtey ki FIR (Part Two) was presented for critical appreciation. The Department of Education, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur hosted the ceremony which was held in the Ghulam Muhammad Ghotive Hall, Abbasia Campus. The session was presided over by the Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob. The Dean Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. Irshad Hussain welcomed all the participants, dignitaries and colleagues. The intellectuals from the Bahawalpur put forth their reviews on the art and artifacts of the said book. The literary participants consisted of literary pundits, M.Phil and Ph.D. Scholars, Deans of faculties, teachers and social activists. The reviewers who evaluated the book were Mr. Sultan Ahmad Saeed, Mr. Muhammad Mudassir, Mr. Ghufran Majeed from Radio Pakistan, Prof. Syed Dewan Asif Shahzad and Prof. Sana Qazi from the English Literature Department, Govt. Sadiq Egerton Graduate College Bahawalpur, Prof. Noreen Ghanzanfar and Prof. M.Nauman Faruqi from Department of Urdu, Sadiq Public School and College Bahawalpur. Critical evaluators Dr. Asif Nadeem, Dr. Tahir Nadeem and Dr. Nosheen Malik from Department of Education and Dr. Mumtaz Khan from Department of Saraiki, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur also shared their analyses on the book. Major objective of this ceremony was to develop book reading habit among the youth and to coincide the youth with the modern literary trends and modalities. The evaluators evaluated effects of contemporary trends impacting the youth through mobile, internet and electronic media.  It was indicated that the digital information advancement, swift means of livings and commercialization deem to diminish book reading among youngsters. The only source to inculcate the lofty thoughts and sublime ideas in the minds of youngsters is the propagation of true literary movements and writings. This ceremony originated importance of writer and literature reading in new generation. The speakers stressed upon the spread of awareness regarding importance of book reading among the generation. It was vowed that the nation would gain its seat among the civilized nations if our youth becomes literary veracious readers. Literature is a source of change agent. They opined that the literary readings can rebound the youth from the worth and value of their ancestors. The reviewers appreciated the author Dr. Idrees Ahmad Aftab for originating the interesting aspects of life in logical and philosophical way. They appreciated the literary tools with which the author has proliferated the canvas of his book and painted the true picture of his contemporaries. His paintings are living beings that walk and talk to the readers just like paintings. This quality of the author attracts the attention of the reader. The Vice Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob in his address reiterated that the penned wordy sketches drawn from the author are real and original. Dr. Idrees Ahmad Aftab evaluated every nook and corner of his life and presented in the book and made it moralistic and full of guidance. Dr. Idress are infested with living cities which entangled attention of readers who cherish his writing and wish to live among them and become the part of it. It is mastery of his prosodic art where he brought into act his profound observatory skills and inculcated his life collection with simplicity and fidelity. Lofty imagination and clarity in statements is characteristic of his writings. He subdued unnecessary length and brevity by producing logical connections and continuity in the incidents of his life events.  The book launching ceremony of the book was enacted by the Eng. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob with his resolution that the Islamia University of Bahawalpur would continue to patronize such literary events in future and provide a solid forum for the growth of writers and literary writings. He congratulated Dr. Idrees Ahmad Aftab for his literary exhortations and prayed that the garden of these literary books may grow and prosper. The perfume of the words may enchant the literature and romance of literary books proves useful for the book lovers. He assured his firm belief that the books play their vital role in the character building of the humanity and act as a change agent in the human behaviors and values. It is the literature which brings revolution among nations and reflects cultural values of a society in a better way. This ceremony illumines role of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur in the south Punjab and show how literature friendly vice chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob seemed interested in the literary growth of the literature.

اسلامیہ یونی ورسٹی بہاول پور میں علمی و ادبی تقریبات کے باقاعدہ انعقاد کا تسلسل جامعہ میں زیر تعلیم طلباء کے لیے علم و فنون کی ترقی و ترویج کا سبب بنتا ہے۔ اس روایت کو جاری رکھتے ہوئے بہاول پور کے مشہور مصنف ڈاکٹر ادریس احمد آفتاب کی تصنیف ''فرشتے کی ایف آئی آر(جلد دوم)'' کی تقریب رونمائی گھوٹوی ہال عباسیہ کیمپس اسلامیہ یونی ورسٹی بہاول پور میں کیا گیاجس کا اہتمام ڈیپارٹمنٹ آف ایجوکیشن اسلامیہ یونی ورسٹی بہاول پور نے کیا۔ تقریب کی صدارت رئیس الجامعہ انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب نے کی۔ اس تقریب رونمائی میں خطہ بہاول پور کے زرخیز اذہان نے کتاب  مذکورہ پر تقریظ پیش کی اور اس کے فنی اور تشکیلی محاسن پر سیر حاصل بحث کی۔ اس تقریب کا بنیادی مقصد نوجوان نسل میں کتب بینی کی ترغیب و ترویج پیدا کرنا تھا اور انہیں جدید ادبی تنقیدی تقاضوں سے ہم آہنگ کرنا تھا۔ شرکاء نے دور حاضر میں موبائل، انٹرنیٹ اور الیکٹرانک میڈیا  کے اثرات کا جائزہ لیا اور کہا کہ جہاں ڈیجیٹل انفارمیشن کی ترویج، کمرشلائزیشن، تیزرفتار طرز زندگی نے کتب بینی کے شوق کو یکسر ختم کر دیا ہے اچھا ادب اور کتاب انسان کے حاصل کردہ علم کی منظم و مرتب صورت، اسکے افکار وخیالات کا مجسمہ، اسے فروغ دینے کا لاثانی وسیلہ ہے۔ اس تقریب میں ادب اور ادیب کی  اہمیت کو اجاگر کیا گیا اور کہا گیا کہ ا گر ہم اپنی نئی نسل کو کتب بینی کی لذت، حلاوت، شیرینی اور چاشنی سے آگاہ کریں اور اُنہیں مطالعہ کا خوگر بنائیں، اپنے مشرقی روایات کی پاسداری کا پابند بنائیں اور سچے مسلمان ہونے کا درس دیں تو قوی اُمید اور امکان ہے کہ ہمارے معاشرے میں بڑے پیمانے پر حقیقی معنوں میں تبدیلی آجائے گی اور ملک و ملت کا نام دنیا کی مہذب ترین اقوام میں شمار ہونے لگے گا۔ ان کے خیال میں کتب بینی سے دوری اور بُعد ہی کا نتیجہ ہے کہ ہمارے نوجوانوں میں اپنے اسلاف کی قدر دانی اور مرتبہ شناسی کا عنصر ناپید ہے۔ شرکاء نے فرشتے کی ایف آئی آر کے مصنف کے حوالہ سے کہا کہ انھوں نے  زندگی کے دلچسپ پہلو کومنطقی یا فلسفی کے طور پر لیا اور ایک ایسا حقیقی کینوس سجایا جیسے مصور رنگوں سے اور سنگ تراش پتھروں سے بناتا ہے۔ ان کا زاویہ نگاہ عقیدے اور اصول کی گتھیوں کو سلجھاتے ہوئے اپنی معاشرتی نوع سے جیتی جاگتی ہستیوں کو بالکل ویسے ہی منقش کرتا ہے جیسے مصوراور ان کی یہی ادا قاری کے نظر اور دل میں سمائی رہتی ہیں۔ رئیس الجامعہ پروفیسر انجنیئر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب نے اپنے خیالات کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ بہ طور ادیب ڈاکٹر ادریس کا قلم زندگی کا صحیح نقشہ صفحہ قرطاس پر کھینچتا ہے اور وہ اسے اپنا خاص منصب کار سمجھتے ہیں۔ ڈاکٹر ادریس آحمد آفتاب نے زندگی کے ہر لمحہ کا تجزیہ اپنی اس کتاب میں پیش کیا اور اسے سبق آموز اور نصیحت سے بھر پور بنا دیا۔ ڈاکٹرادریس کی تحریروں میں ایسے شہر آباد ہیں جن کی گلیاں نہ تو قاری کو نکلنے دیتی ہیں اور نہ ہی قاری کا خود نکلنے کا دل چاہتا ہے۔ یہ ان کے نثری فن کی معراج ہے جس میں انھوں نے  وسعت مطالعہ و مشاہدہ بروئے کار لاتے ہوئے سادگی اور سلاست سے اپنی زندگی کے مجموعات کو تحت از قلم کیا۔ اپنے تخیل کی بلند پرواز اور بیان کی شگفتگی اس نثری ادب کا خاصہ ہیں جہاں غیر ضروری طوالت اور اختصار سے  تہی دامن کرتے ہوئے منطقی ربط اور تسلسل سے واقعات کو جوڑا۔ اس تقریب کا سپاس نامہ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ارشاد حسین ڈین فیکلٹی آف ایجوکیشن نے پیش کیا۔ تقریب کے اختتام پر ''فرشتے کی ایف آئی آر(جلد دوم)'' کی تقریب رونمائی رئیس الجامعہ انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب نے کی اور اس بات کا اعادہ کیا کہ جامعہ اسلامیہ بہاول پور ادب پرستی کی روایت کو قائم رکھے گی اور ادب دوست جامعہ کے طور پر مشاق ادیبوں کو ایک فورم مہیا کرتی رہے گی۔ انھوں نے مصنف ڈاکٹر ادریس احمد آفتاب کو ان کی کاوش پر مبارک باد پیش کی اور دعا کی کہ کتابوں کا یہ چمن اسی طرح شاد و آباد اور پھلتا پھولتا رہے تاکہ لفظوں کی خوشبو اور مہک سے ادب اور کتاب دوست نہ صرف مستفید ہوں بلکہ انسانی رویوں اور اقدار کی تبدیلی کے ساتھ انسان کی شخصیت سازی میں بھی کتابیں اپنا کردار نبھاتی رہیں کیونکہ کتاب ہی قوموں میں انقلاب لانے کا باعث بنتی ہے اور معاشرے کی تہذیی اقدار کی بہتر انداز میں عکاسی بھی کرتی ہے۔ آج کی اس تقریب میں ادب اور ادیب کی پذیرائی جامعہ اسلامیہ بہاول پور کے کردار کو جنوبی پنجاب میں اجاگر کرتی ہے اور علم دوست رئیس الجامعہ انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب مسلسل اس ادبی چمن کی آبیاری میں مصروف بہ عمل نظر آتے ہیں۔ شرکاء میں عمائدین شہر بہاول پور، علمی و ادبی شخصیات، ایم فل، پی ایچ ڈی اسکالرز، ڈینز آف فیکلٹیز، اساتذہ کرام اور سماجی شخصیات شامل تھے۔ مقررین میں ریڈیو پاکستان سے سلطان احمد سعید، محمد مدثر، غفران امجد نذیر جبکہ صادق ایجرٹن گریجویٹ کالج شعبہ انگلش سے پروفیسر سید دیوان آصف شہزاداور پروفیسر ثنائقاضی اور صادق پبلک اسکول و کالج کے شعبہ اردو سے پروفیسر نورین غنضنفر اور پروفیسر محمد نعمان فاروقی نے کتاب کا تنقیدی جائزہ پیش کیا۔ جامعہ اسلامیہ بہاول پور کے ڈیپارٹمنٹ آف ایجوکیشن سے ڈاکٹر آصف ندیم، ڈاکٹر طاہر ندیم، ڈاکٹر نوشین ملک اور ڈیپارٹمنٹ آف سرائیکی سے ڈاکٹر ممتاز خان نے کتاب  ''فرشتے کی ایف آئی آر(جلد دوم)'' کے حوالہ سے تقریظ پیش کی۔
