Certificate distribution ceremony of Self Breast Examination Course organized by IUB and BINO Hospital Bahawalpur

Women Healthcare Center and Maternity Home, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur in collaboration with Bahawalpur Institute of Nuclear Medicine conducted a training course "Self-Examination" to create awareness about breast self-examination among women. In which 150 master trainers were trained at Bennu Hospital. The certificate distribution ceremony for this session was held at Ghotvi Hall, Abbasia Campus. Ms.Sumera Additional Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur was the chief guest. Dr. Sheikh Safina Siddique Director Women Healthcare Center and Maternity Home, Dr. Samina Ejaz Additional Director, Dr. Amna Noor, Dr. Zarmina and Dr. Sheema welcomed the distinguished guests. Prof. Dr. Shazia Anjum Dean Faculty of Chemical and Biological Sciences participated as guest of honor. Director Bennu Hospital Dr. Muhammad Iftikhar Alam, Prof. Dr. Qaisra Jabeen Chairperson Department of Pharmacology highlighted the importance of breast cancer. Prof. Dr. Shazia Anjum said that highlighted that breast cancer awareness programs should not be limited to women only as its incidence is increasing in the male population as well. Additionally, Women Healthcare Center and Maternity Home organized a program khud ko Pehchanno' with the support of Green Star Social Marketing and PPIF in which there were 10 Master Trainers and 200 female trainers. All the Master Trainers of the khud ko Pehchanno Program were present and certificates were distributed among them. The focal person of both the programs, Dr. Sheikh Safina Siddique, once again highlighted the importance of the two programs, which discussed pre-marital counseling, reproductive health and gender-based violence. The College of Nursing also discussed the importance of these training programs.

ویمن ہیلتھ کیئر سنٹر اور میٹرنٹی ہوم، اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی آف بہاولپور نے بہاولپور انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف نیوکلیئر میڈیسن کے تعاون سے خواتین کی چھاتی کے خود معائنہ کے بارے میں شعور اجاگر کرنے کے لیے ایک تربیتی کورس "سیلف  ایگزامینیشن" کا انعقاد کیا۔ جس میں بینو ہسپتال میں 150 ماسٹر ٹرینرز کو تربیت دی گئی۔ اس سیشن کی تقسیم اسناد کی تقریب گھوٹوی ہال، عباسیہ کیمپس میں منعقد ہوئی۔  سمیرا ایڈیشنل ڈپٹی کمشنر بہاولپور مہمان خصوصی تھیں۔ ڈاکٹر شیخ سفینہ صدیق ڈائریکٹر وومن ہیلتھ کیئر سنٹر اینڈ میٹرنٹی ہوم، ڈاکٹر ثمینہ اعجاز ایڈیشنل ڈائریکٹر، ڈاکٹر آمنہ نور، ڈاکٹر زرمینہ اور ڈاکٹر شیما نے معزز مہمانوں کا استقبال کیا۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شازیہ انجم ڈین فیکلٹی آف کیمیکل اینڈ بائیولوجیکل سائنسز نے مہمان اعزاز کے طور پر شرکت کی۔ڈائریکٹر بینو ڈاکٹر محمد افتخار عالم، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر قیصرہ جبین چیئرپرسن شعبہ فارماکولوجی نے چھاتی کے کینسر کی اہمیت پر روشنی ڈالی۔ پروفیسر  ڈاکٹر شازیہ انجم نے اس بات پر روشنی ڈالی کہ چھاتی کے کینسر کے بارے میں آگاہی کے پروگرام صرف خواتین تک محدود نہیں ہونے چاہئیں کیونکہ مردوں کی آبادی میں بھی اس کے واقعات میں اضافہ ہو رہا ہے۔ مزید برآں ویمن ہیلتھ کیئر سنٹر اور میٹرنٹی ہوم نے گرین اسٹار سوشل مارکیٹنگ اور پی پی آئی ایف کے تعاون سے ایک پروگرام 'خود کو پہچانو' کا انعقاد کیا جس میں 10 ماسٹر ٹرینرز اور 200 طالبات ٹرینر تھیں۔ آج کی تقریب میں خود کو پہچانو پروگرام کے تمام ماسٹر ٹرینرز موجود تھے اور ان میں اسناد تقسیم کی گئیں۔ دونوں پروگراموں کی فوکل پرسن ڈاکٹر شیخ سفینہ صدیق نے ایک بار پھر دونوں پروگراموں کی اہمیت پر روشنی ڈالی جس میں شادی سے پہلے کاؤنسلنگ، تولیدی صحت اور صنفی بنیاد پر تشدد پر بات کی گئی۔ نرسنگ کالج نے ان تربیتی پروگراموں کی اہمیت پر بھی تبادلہ خیال کیا۔
