Closing Session - 8th International Horticulture Conference & Horti Expo South Punjab (IHCE-2024)

Bahawalpur () Department of Horticulture Faculty of Agriculture and Environment, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and Pakistan Society of Horticulture Sciences organized the 8th two-day international conference and expo concluded. Dean Faculty of Agriculture and Environment Prof. Dr. Tanveer Hussain Turabi addressed the conference and thanked the delegates from various universities and institutions of Iran, Egypt, Turkey, Afghanistan and Pakistan and thanked the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar for organizing and sponsoring the conference. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akbar Anjum, Department of Horticulture, Bahaud din Zakariya University, Multan, presented the recommendations of the conference. Focal person of the conference Prof. Dr. Muhammad Nafees said that 4 technical sessions were held on the last day. Which were chaired respectively by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Azam Khan Barani Agricultural University Rawalpindi, Prof. Dr. Amir Nawaz Bahaud din Zakariya University Multan, Prof. Dr. Akbar Anjum Bahaud din Zakariya University Multan and Dr. Basharat Ali Saleem Department of Agriculture Extension Punjab. He said that the delegates from all over the world made field visits on the third day of the conference and reviewed the research and work in the field of horticulture in the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and other institutions of Bahawalpur.

بہاول پور () ڈیپارٹمنٹ آف ہارٹیکلچر فیکلٹی آف ایگریکلچر اینڈ انوائرمنٹ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور اور پاکستان سوسائٹی آف ہارٹیکلچر سائنسز کے زیر اہتمام 8 ویں دو روزہ انٹرنیشنل کانفرنس اور ایکسپو اختتام پذیر ہوگئی۔اختتامی سیشن میں ڈین فیکلٹی آف ایگریکلچر اینڈ انوائرمنٹ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر تنویر حسین ترابی نے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کانفرنس میں ایران، مصر، ترکی، افغانستان اور پاکستان کی مختلف جامعات اور اداروں سے آئے ہوئے مندوبین کا خصوصی شکریہ ادا کیا اور کانفرنس کے انعقاد اور سرپرستی پر وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نوید اختر کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد اکبر انجم شعبہ ہارٹیکلچر بہاء الدین زکریا یونیورسٹی ملتان نے کانفرنس کی سفارشات پیش کی۔ کانفرنس کے فوکل پرسن پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد نفیس نے بتایا کہ اختتامی روز 4 ٹیکنیکل سیشن منعقد ہوئے۔ جن کی صدارت بلترتیب پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد اعظم خان بارانی زرعی یونیورسٹی راولپنڈی، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر عامر نواز بہاء الدین زکریا یونیورسٹی ملتان، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اکبر انجم بہاء الدین زکریا یونیورسٹی ملتان اور ڈاکٹر بشارت علی سلیم محکمہ توسیع زراعت پنجاب نے کی۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ دنیا بھر سے آئے ہوئے مندوبین نے کانفرنس کے تیسرے روز فیلڈ وزٹ کئے اور اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور اور بہاول پور کے دیگر اداروں میں  ہارٹیکلچر کے شعبے پر تحقیق اور کام کا جائزہ لیا۔
