Department of Botany, IUB organized a meeting to promote mutual relation between parents and teachers

On the direction of Vice Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar, a meeting was organized in Department of Botany to promote mutual relations between faculty and parents. Students of BS and MS programs attended with their parents. Dr. Nargis Naaz Chairperson Department of Botany and faculty members informed the parents about the academic environment of the university and the progress of the department and also discussed the queries and problems of the parents. Parents also showed their positive reaction to the department and faculty of the university and the educational environment. On this occasion, it was informed that under the leadership of Dean Prof. Dr. Shazia Anjum, admissions to BS and MPhil in the Department of Botany, Department of Chemistry, Department of Zoology, Department of Biochemistry, Department of Biotechnology and Department of Bioinformatics are going on in the Faculty of Chemical and Biological Sciences and there are a wide range of job opportunities available for graduates in the education sector, government and private sectors.

وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نوید اختر کے ویژن کے مطابق فیکلٹی اور والدین کے درمیان باہمی تعلقات کو فروغ دینے کے لیے ڈیپارٹمنٹ آف باٹنی میں ایک نشست کا اہتمام کیا گیا۔ بی ایس اور ایم ایس پروگراموں کے طلباء اپنے والدین کے ساتھ شریک ہوئے۔ ڈاکٹر نرگس ناز چیئرپرسن ڈیپارٹمنٹ آف باٹنی اور فیکلٹی ممبران نے والدین کو یونیورسٹی کے تعلیمی ماحول اور شعبہ کی پیشرفت کے بارے میں آگاہ کیا اور ساتھ ہی والدین کے سوالات اور مسائل پر تبادلہ خیال کیا۔ والدین نے بھی شعبہ اور یونیورسٹی کی فیکلٹی اور تعلیمی ماحول پر اپنا مثبت ردعمل ظاہر کیا۔ اس موقع پر بتایا گیا کہ ڈین پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شازیہ انجم کی سربراہی میں فیکلٹی آف کیمیکل اینڈ بائیولوجیکل سائنسز میں شعبہ باٹنی، شعبہ کیمسٹری، شعبہ ذوالوجی، شعبہ بائیو کیمسٹری، شعبہ بائیو ٹیکنالوجی اور شعبہ بائیوانفارمیٹکس میں بی ایس اور ایم فل میں داخلے جاری ہیں اور فارغ التحصیل طلباء وطالبات کے لیے شعبہ تعلیم، سرکاری اور پرائیوٹ سیکٹر میں وسیع پیمانے پر ملازمت کے موقع میسر ہیں۔
