Department of Education the Islamia University of Bahawalpur organized World Teachers' Day. Addressing the ceremony, Vice Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar said that on this day we should remember our teachers with honor and respect. We should realize the key role of teachers in the society and pay special attention to the education and training of teachers to play this key role. It is said about a teacher that the best teacher is one who inspires his students i.e. motivates his students and the same is said about leadership that a leader is one whose actions inspire others. A teacher is essentially a leader. Our Prophet ﷺ also said that I have been sent to the world as a teacher. A teacher is a respected profession which is the basis of all professions in the world, whether a craftsman, a doctor, a nurse, a computer engineer, a scientist, he reaches this position only thanks to his teacher, that is why the teacher is undoubtedly called a spiritual father. Dean Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. Irshad Hussain said that a teacher trains and shapes a person's soul. It is a very important profession and it is important for those entering this profession to prepare themselves and work hard in terms of this profession so that they can prepare their students to be architects of the future. We pay our respects to our teachers.

ڈیپارٹمنٹ آف ایجوکیشن اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کے زیر اہتمام ورلڈ ٹیچرز ڈے منایا گیا۔ تقریب سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نوید اختر نے کہا کہ اس دن ہمیں اپنے اساتذہ کو عزت اور احترام سے یاد کرنا چاہیے۔ ہمیں اساتذہ کا معاشرے میں کلیدی کردار کا احساس کرنا چاہیے اور اس کلیدی کردار ادا کرنے کے لیے اساتذہ کی تعلیم وتربیت پر خصوصی توجہ دینی چاہیے۔ ایک استاد کے بارے میں کہا جاتا ہے کہ سب سے اچھا استاد وہ ہے جو اپنے طلباء کو متاثر کرتا ہے یعنی اپنے طلباء وطالبات کو متحرک کر تا ہے اور لیڈرشپ کے بارے میں بھی یہی کہا جاتا ہے کہ لیڈر وہ ہے جس کے ایکشن دوسروں کو متاثر کرتے ہیں کہ وہ زیادہ اچھا بننے تو استاد بنیادی طور پر ایک لیڈر ہے۔ ہمارے نبی ﷺ نے بھی کہا تھا کہ میں دنیا میں بحیثیت استاد ہی بھیجا گیا ہوں۔ استاد ایک معزز پیشہ ہے جو دنیا کے تمام پیشوں کی بنیاد ہے چاہیے کوئی کاریگر، ڈاکٹر، نرس، کمپیوٹر انجینئر، سائنسدان ہو وہ اس مقام تک اپنے استاد کی بدولت ہی پہنچتا ہے اسی لیے بلاشبہ استاد کو روحانی باپ کہا جاتا ہے۔ اس موقع پر ڈین فیکلٹی آف ایجوکیشن پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ارشاد حسین نے کہا کہ استاد ایک انسان کی روح کی تربیت اور تراش کرتا ہے۔ یہ بہت اہم پیشہ ہے اس پیشے میں آنے والوں کے لیے بھی ضروری ہے کہ وہ اس پیشے کے لحاظ سے اپنے آپ کو تیار کریں اور محنت کریں تاکہ اپنے طلباء طالبات کو مستقبل کے معمار کے لیے تیار کرسکیں۔ ہم اپنے اساتذہ کو شاندار خراج تحسین پیش کرتے ہیں۔
