Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management, IUB organized an open day with the students and parents

On the direction of Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar, Vice Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Prof. Dr. Jawad Iqbal, Dean, Faculty of Management Science and Commerce, the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management organized an open day with the students and parents. During the session, the faculty of the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management shared the objectives of the degree, career prospects and possible business opportunities thereafter. The faculty members discussed the queries of the students and their parents. On this occasion, Dr. Shakeel Sarwar, Dr. Maria Hassan, Dr. Habibullah and Hassan Shahid gave a detailed briefing to the parents about the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management. Dr. Shakeel Sarwar said that the admissions in the Department of Hospitality Management in Fall Semester 2023 are going on. The Islamia University of Bahawalpur introducing market need program in which students are getting jobs and best opportunities for their employment. He said that the Faculty of Management Science and Commerce is promoting linkages between academia and industry so that students can have maximum opportunities for skills and business along with education. The parents thanked the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar for providing world-class education and facilities to their children and also appreciated the building of the Faculty of Management Science and Commerce and the university infrastructure.

پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نوید اختر وائس چانسلراسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کی ہدایت پر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر جواد اقبال ڈین فیکلٹی آف مینجمنٹ سائنس اینڈ کامرس کی رہنمائی میں ڈیپارٹمنٹ آف ٹورازم اینڈ ہاسپیٹلیٹی مینجمنٹ نے بی ایس اور ایم بی اے ٹورازم ڈیپارٹمنٹ کے طلباء وطالبات اور والدین کے ساتھ ایک اوپن ڈے کا اہتمام کیا۔ سیشن کے دوران ڈیپارٹمنٹ آف ٹورازم اینڈ ہاسپیٹلیٹی مینجمنٹ کی فیکلٹی نے اس ڈگری کے مقاصد، کیریئر کے امکانات اور اس کے بعد ممکنہ کاروباری مواقع کا اشتراک کیا۔ فیکلٹی ممبران نے طلباء وطالبات اور ان کے والدین کے سوالات پر تبادلہ خیال کیا۔ اس موقع پر ڈاکٹر شکیل سرور، ڈاکٹر ماریہ حسن، ڈاکٹر حبیب اللہ، ڈاکٹر حمید مرتضیٰ اور حسن شاہد نے والدین کو ڈیپارٹمنٹ آف ٹورازم اینڈ ہاسپیٹلیٹی مینجمنٹ کے بارے میں تفصیلی بریفنگ دی۔ ڈاکٹر شکیل سرور نے بتایا کہ ڈیپارٹمنٹ آف ہاسپیٹلیٹی مینجمنٹ میں خزاں سیمسٹر 2023 میں داخلے جاری ہیں۔ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور مارکیٹ نے ہم آہنگ پروگرام متعارف کرا رہی ہے جس میں طلباء وطالبات کو ملازمتیں اور اپنے روزگار کے بہترین مواقع میسر ہو رہے ہیں۔ انہوں نے بتایا کہ فیکلٹی آف مینجمنٹ سائنس اینڈ کامرس اکیڈمیا اور انڈسٹری کے روابط کو فروغ دے رہی ہے تاکہ طلباء وطالبات کو تعلیم کے ساتھ ہنر اور کاروبار کے زیادہ سے زیادہ مواقع میسر ہوں۔ والدین نے اپنے بچوں کو عالمی معیار کی تعلیم اور سہولیات فراہم کرنے پر وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نوید اختر کا شکریہ ادا کیا اور فیکلٹی آف مینجمنٹ سائنس اینڈ کامرس کی بلڈنگ اور یونیورسٹی انفرانسٹرکچر کی بھی تعریف کی۔
