Digital South Punjab Roadshow 2022 is going on with great success in the districts of South Punjab

Digital South Punjab Road Show 2022 is going on in the cities and towns of Rahim Yar Khan District. Last night the Digital South Punjab Road Show was inaugurated with the anniversary celebrations of Sadiqabad Tehsil. Today, on the second day, a huge ceremony was organized in Rahim Yar Khan. Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob was the chief guest on this occasion. Rizwan Majeed, founder Digital South Punjab Road Show, Director IT, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and IT experts, entrepreneurs and important people from all over Pakistan were present. Vice-Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob said in his address that in the era of knowledge economy, Digital South Punjab Road Show will prove to be the best way to bring the knowledge workers of South Punjab to the global market. He said that he has been serving in South Punjab for the last 8 years. There is immense potential and talent in the youth of this region and through the Digital South Punjab campaign, these youth will make South Punjab the center of information technology not only in Pakistan but also in the world. He said that 8 years ago, he started the work for the establishment and construction of Khawaja Farid University of Information and Technology, Rahim Yar Khan then the educated youth of this region supported him and made the impossible possible in a short period of 4 years. A world-class university was established in the last district of South Punjab. Now these youths have taken the initiative to make South Punjab the hub of IT and they hope that our youth will make this region the center of IT in the world with their faith and determination. He said that by connecting agriculture and related sectors with IT in this region, the destiny of this region can be changed and a great chain of social and economic development can be started which will bring prosperity to this region. He said that through the Digital South Punjab road show campaign, policy makers, decision-making institutions will get awareness of the talent of this region and patronize IT infrastructure and IT entrepreneurs in this region and connect them with the national and global market. Digital South Punjab Roadshow Founder, Director IT, Rizwan Majeed said that this sector has billions of dollars of potential and through e-business this region can be connected to the global market. Their endeavor is to bring experts from all over Pakistan to meet local entrepreneurs and create an integrated network of contacts that connects them to the global economy. On this occasion, various institutions belonging to the IT industry set up stalls where the youth are being given awareness about entrepreneurship.

ڈیجیٹل ساؤتھ پنجاب روڈ شو 2022 ضلع رحیم یارخان کے شہروں اور قصبات میں زور شور سے جاری ہے اور مختلف مقامات پر پڑاؤ کر رہا ہے۔ گزشتہ رات ڈیجیٹل ساؤتھ پنجاب روڈ شو کا افتتاح صادق آباد تحصیل کی سالگرہ کی تقریبات کے ساتھ ہوا۔ آج دوسرے دن رحیم یار خان میں بہت بڑی تقریب منعقد کی گئی۔ وائس اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور چانسلر انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب اس موقع پرمہمان خصوصی تھے۔ اس موقع پر ڈیجیٹل ساؤتھ پنجاب روڈ شو کے بانی ڈائریکٹر آئی ٹی اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور رضوان مجید اور پاکستان بھر سے آئے ہوئے آئی ٹی ماہرین، انٹر پرینیورز اور آئی ٹی انڈسٹری سے وابستہ اہم افراد موجود تھے۔ وائس چانسلر انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب نے اپنے خطاب میں کہا کہ نالج اکانومی کے دور میں ڈیجیٹل ساؤتھ  پنجاب روڈ شو جنوبی پنجاب کے نالج ورکرز کو عالمی مارکیٹ پر لانے کا بہترین ذریعہ ثابت ہو گا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ وہ جنوبی پنجاب میں گزشتہ 8 سال سے خدمات سرانجام دے رہے ہیں۔ اس خطے کے نوجوانوں میں بے پناہ صلاحتیں اور ٹیلنٹ موجود ہے اور ڈیجیٹل ساؤتھ پنجاب مہم کے ذریعے یہ نوجوان جنوبی پنجاب کو نہ صرف پاکستان بلکہ دنیا میں انفارمیشن ٹیکنالوجی کا مرکز بنا دیں گے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ 8 سال قبل انہوں نے خواجہ فرید یونیورسٹی آف انفارمیشن اینڈ ٹیکنالوجی کے قیام اور تعمیر کے سلسلے میں کام کا آغاز کیا تو اس خطے کی پڑھے لکھے نوجوانوں نے انکا بھرپور ساتھ دیا اور 4 سال کے مختصر عرصے میں نا ممکن کو ممکن بناتے ہوئے جنوبی پنجاب کے آخری ضلع میں عالمی معیار کی ایک بہترین یونیورسٹی قائم کر دی۔ اب انہی نوجوانوں نے جنوبی پنجاب کو آئی ٹی کا ہب بنانے کا بیڑا اٹھا یا ہے اور انہیں امید ہے کہ ہمارے نوجوان اپنے یقین اور عزم سے اس خطے کو دنیا میں آئی ٹی کا مرکز بنا دیں گے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ اس خطے میں زراعت اور اس سے منسلک شعبہ جات کو آئی ٹی سے منسلک کرنے سے اس خطے کی تقدیر بدلی سکتی ہے اور سماجی اور معاشی ترقی کا ایک عظیم سلسلہ شروع ہو سکتا ہے جو اس خطے میں خوشحالی لائے گا۔ اس سلسلے میں نوجوانوں کا کردار کلیدی ہو گا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ڈیجیٹل ساؤتھ پنجاب روڈ شو مہم کے ذریعے پالیسی میکرز، فیصلہ سازوں اداروں کو اس خطے کے ٹیلنٹ سے آگاہی حاصل ہو گی اور اس خطے میں آئی ٹی انفراسٹرکچر اور آئی ٹی انٹر پرینیورز کی سرپرستی اور ان کوقومی اور عالمی مارکیٹ سے جوڑنے میں مدد ملے گی۔ ڈیجیٹل ساؤتھ پنجاب روڈ شو کے بانی ڈائریکٹر آئی ٹی رضوان مجید نے کہا کہ اس سیکٹر میں اربوں ڈالر کا پوٹینشل موجود ہے اور ای بزنس کے ذریعے یہ خطہ عالمی مارکیٹ سے جوڑا جا سکتا ہے۔ ان کی کاوش یہی ہے کہ پورے پاکستان سے ماہرین کو یہاں لا کر مقامی انٹرپرینیورز سے ملایا جائے اور رابطے کا ایک مربوط نظام تشکیل دے کر ایک ایسی نیٹ ورکنگ کی جائے جو انہیں عالمی اکانومی کے ساتھ جوڑ دے۔ اس موقع پر آئی ٹی انڈسٹری کے تعلق رکھنے والے مختلف اداروں نے سٹالز لگائے جہاں نوجوانوں کو انٹرپرینیورشپ سے متعلق آگاہی فراہم کی جا رہی ہے۔
