Engr. Muhammad Baligh-ur-Rehman, Governor Punjab inaugurated the Pedagogical Training Center at IUB

Governor Punjab and Chancellor of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Engr. Muhammad Baligh-ur-Rehman has said that teachers have the main role in shaping the character of students. A good society can be created by inculcating high moral values in our students. Governor Punjab Engr. Muhammad Baligh-ur-Rehman expressed these views during the closing ceremony and certificate distribution ceremony organized for the teachers at Abbasia Campus, the Islamia Universityof Bahawalpur. He said that the training program for all teachers to increase the teaching and research quality by the Vice Chancellor of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, is a bright example for all universities. It is satisfactory that this training program the teachers were informed about the modern methods of teaching. With the establishment of Pedagogical Training Center in the Faculty of Education, this training program will be conducted on a regular basis and other universities and educational institutions will also benefit. The Governor of Punjab urged the teachers to focus on basic moral qualities and training along with adopting the latest methods of teaching in the world. Focal person Prof. Dr. Irshad Hussain said that, this training program has been started according to the vision of the Vice-Chancellor so that the teachers are exposed to the modern teaching-learning method. In the ceremony, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar, Deans, Professors, Syndicate members and other members participated. Earlier, Engr. Muhammad Baligh-ur-Rehman, Governor Punjab inaugurated the Pedagogical Training Center.

گورنر پنجاب اور چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپورانجینئر محمد بلیغ الرحمن نے کہا ہے کہ طلبہ و طالبات کی کردار سازی میں اساتذہ کرام کا مرکزی کردار ہے۔ ہمارے طلباء اور طالبات میں اعلی اخلاقی اقدار پروان چڑھا کر ایک احسن معاشرہ تشکیل دیا جا سکتا ہے۔ گورنرپنجاب انجینئر محمد بلیغ الرحمان ان خیالات کا اظہار اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی کے عباسیہ کیمپس میں اساتذہ کرام کے لیے منعقد کی گئی اختتامی تقریب اور تقسیم اسناد کے موقع پر کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی کے وائس چانسلر انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب کی جانب سے تدریسی و تحقیقی معیارمیں اضافے کے لئے تمام اساتذہ کرام کے لیے تربیتی پروگرام تمام جامعات کے لئے ایک روشن مثال ہے۔ یہ بات اطمینان بخش ہے کے اس تربیتی پروگرام کے ذریعے اساتذہ کرام کو تدریس کے جدید طریقوں سے متعلق آگاہی فراہم کی گئی۔ فیکلٹی اف ایجوکیشن میں پیڈاگوجیکل ٹریننگ سنٹرکے قیام سے اس تربیتی پروگرام کا مستقل بنیادوں پر انعقاد ہوگا اور دوسری جامعات اور تعلیمی ادارے بھی مستفید ہوں گے۔ گورنر پنجاب نے اساتذہ پر زور دیا کہ دنیا میں مروج تدریس کے جدید ترین طریقہ کار کو بروئے کار لانے کے ساتھ ساتھ بنیادی اخلاقی اوصاف اور تربیت پر بھی  توجہ دیں۔ فوکل پرسن پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ارشاد حسین نے کہا کہ اس تربیتی پروگرام کو وائس چانسلر کے ویژن کے مطابق شروع کیا گیا ہے تاکہ اساتذہ کرام کو عصر حاضرکے ٹیچنگ لرننگ کے طریقہ کار سے روشناس کرایا جائے۔ تقریب میں وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب، پرووائس چانسلر پروفیسرڈاکٹرنوید اختر، ڈین صاحبان، پروفیسرز، سینڈیکیٹ ممبران اور دوسرے اراکین نے شرکت کی۔ اس سے قبل انجینئر محمد بلیغ الرحمان گورنر پنجاب نے پیڈاگوجیکل ٹریننگ سنٹر کا افتتاح کیا۔
