Dean's Message

I consider it an honor to serve as Dean of the Faculty of Chemical and Biological Sciences (FC&BS) at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur. The FC&BS comprises six academic departments: Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Botany, Chemistry, and Zoology. These dedicated departments form the backbone of research and teaching at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur.

The priority of our faculty is to strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration, enhance research output, and ensure that our graduates are equipped with both knowledge and practical competence. The commitment of FC&BS is to uphold academic excellence while fostering critical thinking, research, and ethical conduct among our students and faculty members. We combine rigorous academic training with modern pedagogical practices to prepare students for the challenges of a rapidly changing world.

FC&BS aims to create an environment where curiosity is encouraged, ideas are challenged, and learning extends beyond the classroom through research, community engagement, and collaboration. We encourage our students to approach their studies with dedication and integrity, and our faculty members to continue pursuing research that contributes meaningfully to their respective fields and to the development of our region.
