Dean’s Message

The Faculty of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences, originally established in 1975 and revitalized in 2020, is home to three prestigious colleges: the University College of Conventional Medicine (established in 2000), the Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi Postgraduate Medical College (established in 2013) and University College of Nursing (established in 2020). In response to evolving healthcare needs, we have also introduced several new departments, including Department of Physical Therapy, Department of Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Department of Public Health, Department of Forensic Science and Department of Medical Laboratory Technology.

Our academic offerings include undergraduate programs such as the Bachelor of Eastern Medicine and Surgery (BEMS) and the Bachelor of Homeopathic Medical Sciences (BHMS), as well as postgraduate degrees like M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Eastern Medicine and Phytomedicine. Additionally, the postgraduate medical college provides M.Phil. programs in Pharmacology and Physiology for medical and allied health professionals.

Our faculty comprises highly qualified educators with national and international experience, committed to fostering academic excellence and research. The faculty is dedicated to producing skilled, compassionate and community-focused healthcare professionals who are prepared to address the diverse health challenges of society.
