HEC Project Director Ms. Dureshahwar Saddozai visited IUB and appreciated the progress of the university

Vice Chancellor Islamia University Bahawalpur Engr Prof Dr. Athar Mahboob has said that Jamia Islamia is following the policy guidelines of the Higher Education Commission regarding special students. In this regard, these rules and regulations have been implemented with the approval of the University Academic Council and the Syndicate. The Special Access Center is also actively providing services to such students. The Vice-Chancellor expressed these views on the occasion of a meeting with the Project Director of the Higher Education Commission Ms. Dureshahwar Saddozai in his office. On this occasion, he thanked Chairman Higher Education Commission Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed for providing electric wheelchairs under the Prime Minister Scheme for special students of the university. The representative of Higher Education Commission said that she was very impressed by the visit to Abbasia Campus and Baghdad Al-Jadeed Campus. In particular, the establishment of the University Nursing College, the major solar power project and the ornate building of the College of Art and Design are commendable.

وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب نے کہا ہے کہ جامعہ اسلامیہ خصوصی طالب علموں سے متعلق ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن کی پالیسی گائیڈ لائنز پر عمل پیرا ہے۔ اس سلسلے میں یونیورسٹی اکیڈمک کونسل اور سینڈیکیٹ کی منظوری سے ان قواعد و ضوابط کو نافذ کیاگیا ہے۔ ایسے طلباء وطالبات کو تمام تر سہولیات کی فراہمی کے لئے خصوصی رسائی مرکز بھی فعال انداز میں خدمات سر انجام دے رہا ہے۔ وائس چانسلر نے ان خیالات کا اظہار ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن کی پراجیکٹ ڈائریکٹر محترمہ درشہوار سدوزئی سے اپنے دفتر میں ملاقات کے موقع پر کیا۔ اس موقع پر انہوں نے یونیورسٹی کے خصوصی طلباء وطالبات کے لئے وزیر اعظم سکیم کے تحت الیکٹرک وہیل چئیرز کی فراہمی پر چیئرمین ہائرایجوکیشن کمیشن ڈاکٹر مختار احمد کا خصوصی شکریہ ادا کیا۔ ہائرایجوکیشن کمیشن کی نمائندہ نے کہا کہ وہ عباسیہ کیمپس اور بغداد الجدید کیمپس کے دورے سے بہت متاثر ہوئی ہیں۔ خاص طور پر یونیورسٹی نرسنگ کالج کا قیام،  شمسی توانائی کا بڑا منصوبہ اور کالج آف آرٹ اینڈ ڈیزائن کی دیدہ زیب عمارت قابل تحسین ہے۔
