Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur has said that the exceptional increase in the national and international ranking of Jamia Islamia has been possible due to the improvement in teaching quality. High teaching quality actually plays an important role in producing qualified graduates. The Islamia University of Bahawalpur organized the first of its kind pedagogical training in the universities of Pakistan. The purpose of this training program is to increase the teaching capacity of the teachers and provide awareness about the latest teaching methods. So far, more than 3000 teachers have been trained. The Vice Chancellor expressed views while talking to the participants of the 8th batch of Pedagogical Training. 162 teachers participated in this training group. The Vice-Chancellor said that teachers can actually change the destiny of nations and it is important to make them aware of the global developments in teaching. He said that the philosophy of this training is that teachers should improve their teaching skills. Focal person Prof. Dr. Irshad Hussain said that this is the first training program in the history of the university in which regular and part-time teachers are participating. Teacher training and professionalism are very important for quality education. This training program launched as per the vision of the Vice-Chancellor aims to ensure teaching style, professional ethics and effective teaching qualities in the faculty. It includes important issues like teaching, teaching plan, use of media for teaching, assessment of students' learning ability. This training program will certainly play an important role in the national and global ranking of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. He said that the scope of this training program will be extended to affiliated colleges and colleges across the division. On this occasion, the participants said that this training program should be changed into a refresher course so that the teachers can attend on an annual basis and adapt to modern teaching methods.

انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور نے کہا ہے کہ جامعہ اسلامیہ کی قومی اور عالمی رینکنگ میں غیر معمولی اضافہ تدریسی معیار میں بہتری کی وجہ سے ممکن ہوا ہے۔ اعلیٰ تدریسی معیار ہی اصل میں قابل گریجویٹس پیدا کرنے میں اہم کردار ادا کرتا ہے۔ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور میں پاکستان کی جامعات میں اپنی نوعیت کی پہلی پیڈاگوجیکل ٹریننگ کا اہتمام کیا گیا۔ اس تربیتی پروگرام کا مقصد اساتذہ کرام کی تدریسی استعداد کار میں اضافہ اورجدید ترین تدریسی طریقہ کار سے متعلق آگاہی فراہم کرنا ہے۔ اب تک 3000 سے زائد اساتذہ کی تربیت مکمل ہو چکی ہے۔ وائس چانسلر نے اس بات کا اظہار پیڈا گوجیکل ٹریننگ کے 8 ویں گروپ کے شرکاء سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے کیا۔ اس ٹریننگ گروپ میں 162 اساتذہ شریک ہوئے۔ وائس چانسلر نے کہا کہ اساتذہ دراصل قوموں کی تقدیر بدل سکتے ہیں اور ان کو تدریس میں ہونے والی عالمی سطح کی پیش رفت سے آگاہ کرنا ضروری ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ اس ٹریننگ کا فلسفہ یہ ہے کہ اساتذہ یکسو ہو کر تدریسی مہارت میں اضافہ کریں اور مستقبل کے لیڈرز پیدا کریں۔ فوکل پرسن پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ارشاد حسین نے کہا کہ یونیورسٹی کی تاریخ میں یہ پہلا تربیتی پروگرام ہے جس میں ریگولر اور پارٹ ٹائم اساتذہ حصہ لے رہے ہیں۔ کوالٹی ایجوکیشن کے لیے اساتذہ کی تربیت اور پیشہ ورانہ مہارت بہت اہم ہے۔ وائس چانسلر کے ویژن کے مطابق شروع کیے گئے اس ٹریننگ پروگرام کا مقصد انداز تدریس، پیشہ ورانہ اخلاقیات اور موثر تدریس کے خواص کو فیکلٹی میں یقینی بنانا ہے۔ اس سے تدریس، ٹیچنگ پلان، تدریس کے لیے میڈیا کا استعمال، طلباء وطالبات کی سیکھنے کی صلاحیت کا جائزہ لینا جیسے اہم امور شامل ہیں۔ یہ تربیتی پروگرام یقینا اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کی قومی اور عالمی درجہ بندی میں اہم کردار ادا کرے گا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ اس تربیتی پروگرام کا دائرہ کار الحاق شدہ کالجزاور ڈویژن بھر کے کالجز تک پھیلایا جائے گا۔ اس موقع پر شرکاء نے کہا کہ اس تربیتی پروگرام کو ریفریشر کورس میں تبدیل کیا جائے تاکہ اساتذہ کرام سالانہ بنیادوں پر شریک ہو کر جدید تدریسی طریقہ کار سے مطابقت پید اکر سکیں۔
