Chairman Higher Education of Pakistan Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmed Akhtar (S.I) has said that universities are the foundation and important pillars of society which play an important role in the development of society. The Islamia University of Bahawalpur is a historical institution and has a significant role in socio-economic development. Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmed Akhtar expressed these views while addressing the reception ceremony of teachers and students at Abbasia Campus. He said that our youth are strengthening the country's economy through their expertise in Artificial Intelligence. He appreciated the projects of the students of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur in Artificial Intelligence, IT, Veterinary, Medical, Agriculture and Social Sciences. He said that the Islamia University of Bahawalpur is a big university with modern infrastructure. Our youth are increasing the country's foreign exchange through e-commerce. Universities need to work on educational programs that are compatible with national needs. He appreciated the teachers of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur for receiving projects from the Higher Education Commission. Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Abdul Rauf was also present on the occasion. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Vice Chancellor of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, said that the Islamia University of Bahawalpur has always played its role in promoting higher education, research and innovation. We have made continuous efforts to improve the quality of teacher training, student guidance and research. The guidance and support of the Higher Education Commission has been a guiding light for us in this journey. He said that the Islamia University of Bahawalpur has played a significant role in the promotion of higher education not only in South Punjab but also in the entire country in the last few years. Our students have proven their capabilities at the national and international levels and our researchers have presented research projects that are directly linked to national development. All these achievements are a continuation of the great academic tradition that the Islamia University of Bahawalpur has established in the last hundred years. After completing a century, today this institution is a bright beacon of knowledge and research not only in South Punjab but also in the whole of Pakistan. The Vice Chancellor requested the Chairman HEC to pay special attention to the completion of the incomplete projects of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur so that these ambitious development projects of teaching and research importance reach completion. On this occasion, certificates were distributed among the best researchers and outstanding teachers and students of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. These include Prof. Dr. Riaz Hussain, Department of Pathology, Dr. Faisal Shahzad, Department of Livestock Management, Dr. Humaira Arshad, Department of Computer Science, Prof. Dr. Imran Sarwar Bajwa, Department of Computer Science, Dr. Samia Khalid, Department of History, Muhammad Inam-ul-Haq, Department of Electronic Engineering, Abdul Haseeb Wajid, Department of Computer Science, Muhammad Murad Ali, Department of Artificial Intelligence, Dr. Abdul Aziz, Department of Aviation Sciences, Engineer Abid Javed, Department of Electronic Engineering, Muneeb-ur-Rehman Sial, Department of Computer Science, Professor Dr. Najia Sahar, Department of Artificial Intelligence. The Chairman Higher Education Commission was also briefed about the Quality Enhancement Cell, University Rankings, research activities of the Office of Research, establishment of a Business Incubator and Innovation Center, and the services of the IUB Flood Relief Cell for flood victims.

چیئرمین ہائر ایجوکیشن آف پاکستان پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نیاز احمد اختر ستارہ امتیاز نے کہا ہے کہ جامعات سوسائٹی کی بنیاد اور اہم ستون ہیں جو معاشرے کی ترقی میں اہم کردار ادا کرتی ہیں۔ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور ایک تاریخی ادارہ ہے اور سماجی و معاشی ترقی میں نمایاں کردار کی حامل ہے۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نیاز احمد اختر نے ان خیالات کا اظہار عباسیہ کیمپس میں اساتذہ اور طلباوطالبات کی تقریب پذیرائی سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ہمارے نوجوان آرٹیفیشل انٹیلیجنس میں مہارت کی بدولت ملکی اکانومی کو مضبوط بنارہے ہیں۔ انہوں نے اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کے طلباو طالبات کے آرٹیفیشل انٹیلیجنس، آئی ٹی، ویٹرنری، میڈیکل، زراعت اور سوشل سائنسز میں پراجیکٹس کو سراہا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور ایک بڑی جامعہ ہے جہاں پر جدید انفراسٹرکچر موجود ہے۔ ہمارےنوجوان ای کامرس سے ملکی زرمبادلہ میں اضافہ کررہے ہیں۔ جامعات کو قومی ضرورت کے مطابق ہم آہنگ تعلیمی پروگراموں پر کام کرنے کی ضرورت ہے۔ انہوں نے ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن کے پراجیکٹس حاصل کرنے پر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے اساتذہ کو سراہا۔ اس موقع پر پرو وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر عبدالرؤف بھی موجود تھے۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور نے کہا کہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور نے ہمیشہ اعلیٰ تعلیم تحقیق اور جدت کو فروغ دینے میں اپنا کردار ادا کیا ہے۔ ہم نے اساتذہ کی تربیت، طلبہ کی رہنمائی اور تحقیق کے معیار کو بہتر بنانے کے لیے مسلسل کوششیں کی ہیں۔ اس سفر میں ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن کی رہنمائی اور تعاون ہمارے لیے مشعلِ راہ رہی ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور نے گزشتہ چند برسوں میں نہ صرف جنوبی پنجاب بلکہ پورے ملک میں اعلیٰ تعلیم کے فروغ میں نمایاں کردار ادا کیا ہے۔ ہمارے طلبہ نے قومی اور بین الاقوامی سطح پر اپنی صلاحیتوں کا لوہا منوایا اور ہمارے محققین نے ایسے تحقیقی منصوبے پیش کیے جو براہِ راست قومی ترقی سے جڑے ہوئے ہیں۔ یہ سب کامیابیاں اس عظیم علمی روایت کا تسلسل ہیں جو اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور نے گزشتہ سو برسوں میں قائم کی ہیں۔ ایک صدی مکمل کرنے کے بعد آج یہ ادارہ نہ صرف جنوبی پنجاب بلکہ پورے پاکستان میں علم و تحقیق کا روشن چراغ ہے۔ وائس چانسلر نے چیئرمین ایچ ای سی  سے اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے نامکمل پراجیکٹس کی تکمیل کے لیے خصوصی توجہ کی درخواست تاکہ تدریسی اور تحقیقی اہمیت کے یہ التواشدہ ترقیاتی منصوبے پایہ تکمیل کو پہنچیں۔ اس موقع پر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے بہترین محققین اور نمایاں کارکردگی کا مظاہرہ کرنے والے اساتذہ اور طلباوطالبات میں اسناد تقسیم کی گئیں۔ ان میں پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ریاض حسین شعبہ پتھالوجی، ڈاکٹر فیصل شہزاد شعبہ لائیو سٹاک مینجمنٹ، ڈاکٹر حمیرا ارشد شعبہ کیمپوٹر سائنس، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر عمران سرور باجوہ شعبہ کیمپوٹر سائنس، ڈاکٹر سمیعہ خالد شعبہ تاریخ ، محمد انعام الحق شعبہ الیکٹرانک انجینئرنگ، عبدالحسیب واجد شعبہ کیمپوٹر سائنس، محمد مراد علی شعبہ آرٹیفیشل اینٹیلیجنس، ڈاکٹر عبدالعزیز شعبہ ایوی ایشن سائنسز، انجینئر عابد جاوید شعبہ الیکٹرانک انجینئرنگ، منیب الرحمن سیال شعبہ کیمپوٹر سائنس، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ناجیہ سحر شعبہ آرٹیفیشل اینٹیلیجنس شامل ہیں۔ چیئرمین ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن کو کوالٹی انہاسمنٹ سیل، یونیورسٹی رینکنگ، آفس آف ریسرچ کی تحقیقی سرگرمیوں، بزنس انکیوبیٹر اور انوویشن سینٹر کے قیام، آئی یو بی فلڈ ریلیف سیل کی سیلاب متاثرین کے لیے خدمات سے متعلق بھی بریفنگ دی گئ۔
