Islamia University of Bahawalpur organized an event titled "Pharmacist Registration Journey in Australia"

Department of Pharmaceutics, Faculty of Pharmacy the Islamia University of Bahawalpur organized an event titled "Pharmacist Registration Journey in Australia". The purpose of the event was to guide aspiring pharmacists through the process of registering as a pharmacist in Australia. In this regard, awareness was provided regarding exam preparation and job opportunities in this field. The ceremony was started by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akhtar, Professor of the Department of Pharmaceutics and Principal organizer of the event, who explained the objectives of the seminar. Prof. Dr. Saeed Ahmed, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences presented the welcome address. Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar, Vice-Chancellor and Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy appreciated the organization of the seminar for the pharmacists of the University to be aware of the career opportunities abroad. Pakistan's High Commissioner Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry was also present at the ceremony in Australia. Speaking online, he emphasized the importance of professional development and opportunities for Pakistani pharmacists in Australia. Former High Commissioner of Pakistan in Australia and Norway Babar Amin also gave a short lecture. Waqas Ashraf, Director and Consultant Pharmacist at Amcal Pharmacy, Belconnen, Australia, and Nilum Saba, Director and Pharmacist at Terry White Chemmart Pharmacy, Belconnen, Australia, provided detailed insights into the registration process, KAPS test preparation, and job opportunities in Australia.

بہاول پور (پ) شعبہ فارماسیوٹکس، فیکلٹی آف فارمیسی اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی آف بہاولپور کے زیر اہتمام ''آسٹریلیا میں فارماسسٹ رجسٹریشن کا سفر'' کے عنوان سے ایک تقریب کا انعقاد کیا گیا۔ اس تقریب کا مقصد خواہشمند فارماسسٹوں کی آسٹریلیا میں فارماسسٹ کے طور پر اندراج کے عمل کے ذریعے رہنمائی کرنا تھا۔ اس سلسلے میں امتحان کی تیاری اور اس شعبے میں ملازمت کے مواقعوں سے متعلق آگاہی فراہم کی گئی۔ تقریب کا آغاز فارماسیوٹکس ڈیپارٹمنٹ کے پروفیسر اور تقریب کے پرنسپل آرگنائزر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد اختر نے سیمینار کے مقاصد بیان کئے۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر سعید احمد ڈین فیکلٹی آف میڈیسن اینڈ الائیڈ ہیلتھ سائنسز نے خطبہ استقبالیہ پیش کیا۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نوید اختر، وائس چانسلر اور ڈین فیکلٹی آف فارمیسی نے جامعہ کے فارماسسٹوں کے لیے بیرون ملک کیریئر کے مواقعوں سے آگاہی کے لیے سیمینار کے انعقاد کو سراہا۔ تقریب میں آسٹریلیا میں پاکستان کے ہائی کمشنر زاہد حفیظ چوہدری بھی شامل تھے۔ انہوں نے آن لائن خطاب کرتے ہوئے آسٹریلیا میں پاکستانی فارماسسٹوں کے لیے پیشہ ورانہ ترقی اور مواقع کی اہمیت پر زور دیا۔ آسٹریلیا اور ناروے میں پاکستان کے سابق ہائی کمشنر بابر امین نے بھی ایک مختصر لیکچر دیا۔ وقاص اشرف، ڈائریکٹر اور کنسلٹنٹ فارماسسٹ ایمکل فارمیسی، بیلکنن، آسٹریلیا، اور نیلم صبا، ڈائریکٹر اور فارماسسٹ ٹیری وائٹ کیمرٹ فارمیسی، بیلکنن، آسٹریلیا نے رجسٹریشن کے عمل، KAPS ٹیسٹ کی تیاری، اور آسٹریلیا میں ملازمت کے مواقعوں کے بارے میں تفصیلی بریفنگ دی۔
