The Islamia University of Bahawalpur has increased the number of scholarships for students in the current financial situation. The university is currently giving scholarships worth Rs 95 crore to 22,000 students and crisis scholarships are also being given to first semester students during the recent spring semester admissions. Dr. Ghulam Hasan Abbasi, Director Financial Assistance, said that on the special direction of Vice Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, crisis scholarship was started for people affected by the Covid-19 epidemic and floods, in which thousands of students were given scholarships worth 95 crores and now the Vice Chancellor has directed to start this scheme for first semester students as well. In this regard the University Scholarship Office is working day and night and a special notification has also been issued. 10 new buses have been added to the university fleet which will further improve the university transport schedule. Meanwhile, admissions for BS, MPhil and Ph.D. are going on in the university. This year the university is providing admission in Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Rahim yar Khan and Liaquatpur and so far 4000 students have taken admission and it is expected that 15 new NOC will be issued by Higher Education Commission. After which there will be 1000 more admissions. Similarly, admissions to BS programs are also going on. Admissions are also going on in Rahim Yar Khan and Bahawalnagar campuses and the number of buses has been increased there. The new building of the university will soon open for academic activities.

اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور نے موجود ہ مالی مشکل حالات میں طلباء و طالبات کے لیے سکالر شپس کی تعداد میں اضافہ کر دیا ہے۔ یونیورسٹی اس وقت مجموعی طور پر 22 ہزار طلباء وطالبات کو 95 کروڑ روپے کے وظائف دے رہی ہے اور حالیہ بہار سیمسٹر کے دوران فرسٹ سیمسٹر کے طلباء و طالبات کو بھی کرائسس سکالرشپ دیا جا رہا ہے۔ ڈاکٹر غلام حسن عباسی ڈائریکٹر فنانشل اسسٹنس نے بتایا کہ وائس چانسلر انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبو ب کی خصوصی ہدایت پر کرونا وباء اور سیلاب سے متاثرہ لوگوں کے لیے کرائسس سکالر شپ شروع کیا تھا جس میں ہزاروں طلباء و طالبات کو کروڑوں روپے کے سکالرشپس دیئے گئے ہیں اور اب وائس چانسلر نے اس سکیم کو فرسٹ سیمسٹر کے طلباء و طالبات کے لیے بھی شروع کرنے کی ہدایت کی ہے۔ اس سلسلے میں یونیورسٹی سکالرشپ آفس دن رات کام کر رہا ہے اورخصوصی نوٹیفیکیشن بھی جاری کردیا گیا ہے۔ 10 نئی بسیں یونیورسٹی فلیٹ میں شامل ہو گئی ہیں جس سے یونیورسٹی ٹرانسپورٹ میں مزید بہتری آئے گی۔ دریں اثناء یونیورسٹی میں بی ایس، ایم فل اور پی ایچ ڈی کے داخلے جاری ہیں۔ اس سال یونیورسٹی بہاول پور، بہاولنگر، رحیم یار خان اور لیاقت پور میں داخلہ فراہم کر رہی ہے اور اب تک 4 ہزار طلباء و طالبات نے داخلہ لے لیا ہے اور امید ہے کہ ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن کی جانب سے 15 نئے این و سی جاری کیے گئے ہیں جس کے بعد 1 ہزار مزید داخلے ہوں گے۔ اسی طرح بی ایس پروگراموں میں بھی داخلے جاری ہیں۔ رحیم یار خان اور بہاولنگر کیمپسز میں بھی داخلے جاری ہیں اور وہاں پر بسوں کی تعداد میں اضافہ کر دیا گیا ہے۔ یونیورسٹی کی نئی عمارت جلد ہی تعلیمی سرگرمیوں کے استعمال میں لے آئے گے۔
