The Islamia University of Bahawalpur is hosting a Five-Day Regional Teacher Training Program at the Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan Library in collaboration with TAKMEEL Foundation, SDGs Collaboration Center, and Fatima Jinnah Women Leadership Center. After completing the training program, the participants (teachers) will serve in 40 different non-formal schools and provide free of cost education to out of school children in the remote and rural areas. Prof. Dr. Rubina Bhatti, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences, inaugurated the training program and highlighted that Pakistan has one of the highest numbers of Out-of-School Children in the world.  She stressed that there is a need to prepare and implement a National Action Plan for Out-of-School Children in order to address the issue of Out-of-School Children in Pakistan and maximize the enrollment of school-age children across the country. She appreciated the effort and work of TAKMIL foundation for providing free education to out of school children.

بہاول پور (پ ر) ایس ڈی جیز کولابریشن سنٹر، فاطمہ جناح ویمن لیڈر شپ سنٹر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور اور تکمیل فاؤنڈیشن کے تعاون سے سر صادق محمد خان لائبریری میں پانچ روزہ ریجنل ٹیچر ٹریننگ پروگرام کی میزبانی کر رہی ہے۔ تربیتی پروگرام مکمل کرنے کے بعد اساتذہ 40 مختلف غیر رسمی اسکولوں میں خدمات انجام دیں گے اور دور دراز اور دیہی علاقوں میں اسکول سے باہر بچوں کو مفت تعلیم فراہم کریں گے۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر روبینہ بھٹی، ڈین فیکلٹی آف سوشل سائنسز نے تربیتی پروگرام کا افتتاح کیا اور اس بات پر روشنی ڈالی کہ پاکستان دنیا میں سب سے زیادہ سکول نہ جانے والے بچوں میں سے ایک ہے۔ انہوں نے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ پاکستان میں سکول سے باہر بچوں کے مسئلے کو حل کرنے اور ملک بھر میں سکول جانے کی عمر کے بچوں کے اندراج کو زیادہ سے زیادہ کرنے کے لیے سکول سے باہر بچوں کے لیے ایک قومی ایکشن پلان تیار کرنے اور اس پر عمل درآمد کرنے کی ضرورت ہے۔ انہوں نے سکول سے باہر بچوں کو مفت تعلیم فراہم کرنے کے لیے تکمیل فاؤنڈیشن کی کوششوں اور کام کو سراہا۔
