IUB Launchpad 2026: Successfully Completed from Prototype to Possibility

The Department of Entrepreneurship & Innovation in collaboration with the IUB Entrepreneurship Society, successfully organized IUB Launchpad 2026, an innovative showcase based on the principles of Value-Based Pedagogy and experiential learning. More than 16 prototypes and innovative products developed across various departments of The Islamia University of Bahawalpur were presented during the event. The unique feature of the initiative was the collaboration between BS Entrepreneurship students and innovators from other academic departments, enabling students to apply entrepreneurial concepts such as Business Model Canvas, marketing, pricing, business communication, and pitching to real university-developed prototypes. The event was graced by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Vice Chancellor, and Prof. Dr. Jawad Iqbal, Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences, who appreciated the efforts of the Department of Entrepreneurship & Innovation, its faculty, students, and collaborating departments for promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and interdisciplinary learning at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. Dr. Syed Shaheer Hassan Rizvi, Incharge Student Affairs and Advisor, IUB Entrepreneurship Society, thanked the Vice Chancellor, Dean Faculty of Management Sciences, participants, and collaborators for their support and encouragement. Dr. Abdul Mannan, Chairperson, Department of Entrepreneurship & Innovation, also expressed his gratitude to the organizing team, faculty members, students, and stakeholders who contributed to the success of the event. The activity served as a practical platform for connecting research, innovation, and entrepreneurship while fostering startup-oriented thinking among students.

انٹرپرینیورشپ اینڈ انوویشن ڈیپارٹمنٹ نے آئی یو بی انٹرپرینیورشپ سوسائٹی کے تعاون سے آئی یو بی لانچ پیڈ 2026 کا کامیابی سے انعقاد کیا، جو کہ قدر پر مبنی درس گاہ اور تجرباتی تعلیم کے اصولوں پر مبنی ایک اختراعی نمائش ہے۔ اس تقریب کے دوران اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی آف بہاولپور کے مختلف شعبہ جات میں تیار کردہ 16 سے زائد پروٹوٹائپس اور اختراعی مصنوعات پیش کی گئیں۔ اس اقدام کی منفرد خصوصیت بی ایس انٹرپرینیورشپ کے طلباءوطالبات اور دیگر تعلیمی شعبہ جات کے اختراع کاروں کے درمیان اشتراک تھا، جس سے طلباء کو کاروباری تصورات جیسے کہ بزنس ماڈل کینوس، مارکیٹنگ، قیمتوں کا تعین، کاروباری کمیونیکیشن، اور حقیقی یونیورسٹی کے تیار کردہ پروٹوٹائپس کو لاگو کرنے کے قابل بنایا گیا۔ اس تقریب میں وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران اور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر جواد اقبال، ڈین، فیکلٹی آف مینجمنٹ سائنسز نے شرکت کی، جنہوں نے شعبہ انٹرپرینیورشپ اینڈ انوویشن، اس کے فیکلٹی، طلباء اور بااثر یونیورسٹی میں جدت، انٹرپرینیورشپ اور انٹرپرینیورشپ کو فروغ دینے کے لیے تعاون کرنے والے شعبہ جات کی کاوشوں کو سراہا۔ ڈاکٹر سید شہیر حسن رضوی، انچارج اسٹوڈنٹ افیئرز اور ایڈوائزر، آئی یو بی  انٹرپرینیورشپ سوسائٹی، نے وائس چانسلر، ڈین فیکلٹی آف مینجمنٹ سائنسز، شرکاء، اور تعاون کرنے والوں کی حمایت اور حوصلہ افزائی پر شکریہ ادا کیا۔ ڈاکٹر عبدالمنان، چیئرپرسن، شعبہ انٹرپرینیورشپ اینڈ انوویشن نے بھی منتظم ٹیم، فیکلٹی ممبران، طلباء اور اسٹیک ہولڈرز کا شکریہ ادا کیا جنہوں نے ایونٹ کی کامیابی میں تعاون کیا۔ اس سرگرمی نے تحقیق، اختراعات، اور انٹرپرینیورشپ کو جوڑنے کے لیے ایک عملی پلیٹ فارم کے طور پر کام کیا جبکہ طالب علموں میں اسٹارٹ اپ پر مبنی سوچ کو فروغ دیا۔
