On the occasion of World Tourism Day, Australian tourist Sebastien Haller has sent a special message to the people of Bahawalpur and the teachers and students of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. He said that before the Covid epidemic, he had visited Bahawalpur and the Islamia University of Bahawalpur under the Europe Silk Route Project. On this occasion, he met Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob and students. He said that Pakistan is a great country in terms of tourism. He said that there are many places for tourists in Pakistan but the most beautiful are the people of Pakistan and their hospitality. He also thanked the Ambassador of Europe Silk Project Faizan Karim Sheikh Protocol Officer.

سیاحت کے عالمی دن کے موقع پر آسٹریلیا سے تعلق رکھنے والے عالمی سیاح سبیٹسیٹن ہالر نے اہل بہاولپور اور اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے اساتذہ اور طلباء و طالبات کے لیے خصوصی پیغام بھیجا ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ کرونا وباء سے پہلے انہوں نے بہاولپور اور اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کا یورپ سلک روٹ پروجیکٹ کے تحت دورہ کیا تھا۔ اس موقع پر انہوں نے وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب اور طلباء وطالبات سے ملاقات کی۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ پاکستان سیاحت کے لحاظ سے ایک بہترین ملک ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ پاکستان میں سیاحوں کی توجہ کے لیے بے شمار مقامات ہیں لیکن سب سے زیادہ خوبصورت پاکستان کے لوگ اور ان کی میزبانی ہے۔ انہوں نے یورپ سلک پروجیکٹ کے سفیر فیضان کریم شیخ پروٹوکول آفیسر کا بھی شکریہ ادا کیا۔
