IUB organized a seminar on relations with non-Muslims in the light of Seerat Un Nabi ﷺ

Students Club, Department of World Religions and Interfaith Harmony, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, organized a seminar on the Seerat Un Nabi (PBUH) regarding relations with non-Muslims in the light of the Seerat Un Nabi (PBUH). The seminar was presided over by Prof. Dr. Sheikh Shafiqur Rahman, Dean Faculty of Islamic and Arabic Studies. Muhammad Faheem Ishaq Misbahi, President of the Students Club, Department of World Religions and Interfaith, delivered the welcome speech. Prof. Dr. Hafiz Shafiqur Rehman, Director Seerat Chair, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur said that one should only follow Quran and Sunnah for guidance in every field of life. He emphasized that the world of Islam must now know that its survival lies only in holding fast to the rope of God. Dr. Sajeela Kausar, Head of the Department of Religions, Scholar and Interfaith Harmony, said that just as the Prophet (PBUH) breathed a new spirit into the Arab multi-religious society through the message of peace. In the same way, modern technology has brought us to a multi-religious place and society where our responsibilities in terms of maintaining peace and propagating Islam spreading even more.

سٹوڈنٹس کلب شعبہ ادیان عالم وبین المذاہب ہم آہنگی، اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کی جانب سے سیرت النبی ﷺ کی روشنی میں غیر مسلموں سے تعلقات سے متعلق سیرت النبی ﷺ سیمینار کا انعقاد کیا گیا۔ سیمینار کی صدارت پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شیخ شفیق الرحمن، ڈین فیکلٹی آف اسلامک اینڈ عریبک اسٹڈیز نے کی۔ محمد فہیم اسحاق مصباحی، صدر سٹوڈنٹس کلب شعبہ ادیان عالم وبین المذاہب آہنگی نے خطبہ استقبالیہ پیش کیا۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر حافظ شفیق الرحمن، ڈائریکٹر سیرت چیئر دی اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی آف بہاول پور نے کہا کہ زندگی کے ہر شعبے میں رہنمائی کے لیے صرف و صرف قرآن و سنت کی پیروی کرنی چاہیے۔ انہوں نے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ دنیائے اسلام کو اب جان لینا چاہیے کہ ان کی بقا صرف و صرف خدا کی رسی کو مضبوطی سے تھام لینے ہی میں ہے۔ ڈاکٹر سجیلہ کوثر، صدر شعبہ ادیان عالم وبین المذاہب ہم آہنگی کا کہنا تھا کہ جس طرح عرب کے کثیر المذاہب معاشرے میں آپ ﷺ نے پیغام امن کے ذریعے ایک نئی روح پھونکی تھی اسی طرح جدید ٹیکنالوجی نے ہمیں ایک کثیر المذہبی مقام و معاشرے میں لا کھڑا کیا ہے جہاں ہماری ذمہ داریاں قیام امن اور تبلیغ اسلام کے حوالے سے اور بھی بڑھ جاتی ہیں۔
