IUB organized an Eid-al-Adha celebration for students from foreign countries and remote areas of Pakistan

Vice Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob hosted an Eid banquet at the University Guest House for the foreign students residing in the hostels and others belonging to remote areas of the country. The hostel administration organizes this banquet every year on the occasion of Eid, and students who are unable to go to their homes during Eid days are invited. The banquet was attended by students from Yumen, Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, and other regions. On this occasion, Dean Faculty of Islamic Learning, Prof. Dr. Sheikh Shafiqur Rahman, Dean Faculty of Chemical & Biological Sciences, Prof. Dr. Shazia Anjum, Dean Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Prof. Dr. Saeed Ahmed Buzdar, Chairman Hall Council, Dr. Faheem Mushtaq, Chief Warden, Salman Mahmood Qureshi, Director Enabling Centre, Dr. Samar Fahd, Director Alumni Affairs, Dr. Azhar Hussain, Director Press Media & Publications, Shahzad Ahmed Khalid, Senior Staff Officer, Wasim Ahmed Siddiqui, Wardens Irfan Ashraf, Muhammad Athar, Muhammad Riaz, Dr. Waheed Abbasi, Dr. Muhammad Akhtar, Umar Daraz, and other staff members attended. The students thanked the Vice Chancellor and hostel administration for organizing a dinner on the occasion of eid and giving a feeling of living at home as they couldn't go home in eid holidays.

وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب کی جانب سے ہاسٹلز میں مقیم غیر ملکی اور ملک کے دور افتادہ علاقوں سے تعلق رکھنے والے طلباء کے لیئے یونیورسٹی گیسٹ ہاوس عباسیہ کیمپس میں عید ضیافت کا اہتمام کیا گیا۔ ہاسٹل ایڈمنسٹریشن ہر سال عید کے موقع پر اس ضیافت کا انعقاد کرتی ہے اور ایسے طلباء کو مدعو کیا جاتا ہے جو عید کے دنوں میں اپنے گھروں کو نہیں جا پاتے۔ آج کی ضیافت میں ملک یمن ، بلوچستان، گلگت بلتستان اور دیگر علاقوں کے طلباء شریک ہوئے۔ اس موقع پر ڈین فیکلٹی آف اسلامک لرننگ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شیخ شفیق الرحمن،  ڈین فیکلٹی آف کیمیکل اینڈ بائیولوجیکل سائنسز پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شازیہ انجم، ڈین فیکلٹی آف فزیکل اینڈ میتھمیٹیکل سائنسز پروفیسر ڈاکٹر سعید احمد بزدار، چیئرمین ہال کونسل ڈاکٹر فہیم مشتاق، چیف وارڈن سلمان محمود قریشی،  ڈائریکٹر اینیبلنگ سنٹر ڈاکٹر ثمر فہد،  ڈائریکٹر ایلومنائی افیئرز ڈاکٹر اظہر حسین، ڈائریکٹر پریس میڈیا اینڈ پبلیکیشنز شہزاد احمد خالد، سینئر سٹاف آفیسر وسیم احمد صدیقی، وارڈنز عرفان اشرف، محمد اطہر، محمد ریاض، ڈاکٹر وحید عباسی، ڈاکٹر محمد اختر، عمر دراز اور دیگر سٹاف ممبران شریک ہوئے۔ ضیافت میں شریک طلباء نے عید الاضحٰی کے موقع پر خصوصی دعوت کا اہتمام کرنے پر چیئرمین ہال کونسل ڈاکٹر فہیم مشتاق اور چیف وارڈن سلمان محمود قریشی اور انکے سٹاف کی کاوش کو سراہا اور خصوصی شرکت اور پذیرائی پر وائس چانسلر انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔
