Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Asif Principal University College of Conventional Medicine the Islamia University of Bahawalpur successfully represented Pakistan and the Islamia University of Bahawalpur during his recent visit to China, participating in several prestigious international academic and scientific activities and achieving significant milestones in the fields of traditional medicine, medicinal plant research, and global academic collaboration. Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Asif represented Pakistan at the 1st World Congress of Artificial Intelligence in Traditional Chinese Medicine held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China. The international congress was hosted by the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies and organized by Zhejiang Chinese Medical University. The congress brought together nearly 800 distinguished experts, scientists, researchers, and academic leaders from 28 countries and regions across the world. Held under the theme Embracing the AI Era, Traditional Chinese Medicine Intelligence for a Healthy Future, the congress focused on exploring the integration of artificial intelligence with Traditional Chinese Medicine and its potential role in advancing future healthcare systems and medical research. During his visit to China, Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Asif also delivered a prestigious Keynote Lecture at the Anhui University of Chinese Medicine on the topic Translational Research in Medicinal Plants and Sino–Pakistan Collaboration. Addressing an international audience of researchers, scientists, and academic leaders, Dr. Asif highlighted Pakistan’s rich medicinal plant resources, the importance of evidence-based research, and the need to integrate traditional knowledge with modern scientific approaches for the development of innovative natural therapeutics. He emphasized that enhanced cooperation between Pakistan and China in medicinal plants, traditional medicine, natural product development, and collaborative research projects can create new opportunities for improving global healthcare. A high-level meeting was also held between Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Asif and the President of Anhui University of Chinese Medicine, along with senior officials and international teams from both institutions. During the meeting, both universities finalized a collaborative framework focusing on joint research projects, faculty and student exchange programmes, specialized training initiatives, joint academic activities, and innovation-driven cooperation in traditional medicine. Both institutions expressed their commitment to strengthening academic, scientific, and research relations between Pakistan and China and recognized this partnership as an important milestone toward promoting evidence-based traditional medicine and modern healthcare innovation. Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Asif stated that by connecting Pakistan’s valuable medicinal plant resources with China’s advanced scientific expertise and technological capabilities, new healthcare innovations can be developed that will benefit not only both countries but also the global community. The successful visit reflects the Islamia University of Bahawalpur’s growing international recognition, commitment to research excellence, and dedication to expanding global academic partnerships. It marks an important step toward further strengthening cooperation between Pakistan and China in the fields of traditional medicine, medicinal plant research, artificial intelligence, scientific innovation, and higher education.

ڈاکٹر حافظ محمد آصف پرنسپل یونیورسٹی کالج آف کنونشنل میڈیسن اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور نے اپنے حالیہ دورہ چین کے دوران پاکستان اور اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی آف بہاولپور کی نمائندگی کی اور بین الاقوامی علمی اور سائنسی سرگرمیوں میں حصہ لیا۔ یہ سرگرمیاں روایتی ادویات میڈیسنل پلانٹ ریسرچ اور گلوبل اکیڈمی کے شعبوں میں تحقیق پر مشتمل تھیں۔ ڈاکٹر حافظ محمد آصف نے چین کے صوبہ زی جیانگ کے شہر ہانگ زو میں روایتی چینی طب میں مصنوعی ذہانت کی پہلی عالمی کانگریس میں پاکستان کی نمائندگی کی۔ بین الاقوامی کانگریس کی میزبانی ورلڈ فیڈریشن آف چائنیز میڈیسن سوسائٹیز نے کی اور اس کا اہتمام ژی جیانگ چائنیز میڈیکل یونیورسٹی نے کیا۔ کانگریس میں دنیا بھر کے 28 ممالک اور خطوں سے تقریباً 800 ممتاز ماہرین سائنسدانوں محققین اور تعلیمی رہنما شامل تھے۔ یہ کانگریس ایک صحت مند مستقبل کے لیے روایتی چائنیز میڈیسن انٹیلی جنس کے دور کو اپنانے کے تھیم کے تحت منعقد ہوئی اور روایتی چینی طب کے ساتھ مصنوعی ذہانت کے انضمام اور مستقبل میں صحت کی دیکھ بھال کے نظام اور طبی تحقیق کو آگے بڑھانے میں اس کے ممکنہ کردار کو تلاش کرنے پر توجہ مرکوز کی گئی ۔اپنے دورہ چین کے دوران ڈاکٹر حافظ محمد آصف نے انہوئی یونیورسٹی آف چائنیز میڈیسن میں میڈیسنل پلانٹس میں تحقیق اور چین پاکستان تعاون کے موضوع پر ایک کلیدی لیکچر بھی دیا۔ محققین سائنسدانوں اور علمی رہنماؤں کے بین الاقوامی سامعین سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے ڈاکٹر آصف نے پاکستان کے روایتی ادویات کے وسائل شواہد پر مبنی تحقیق کی اہمیت اور جدید قدرتی علاج کی ترقی کے لیے روایتی علم کو جدید سائنسی طریقوں کے ساتھ مربوط کرنے کی ضرورت پر روشنی ڈالی۔ انہوں نے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ پاکستان اور چین کے درمیان ادویات کی جڑی بوٹیوں روایتی ادویات قدرتی مصنوعات کی ترقی اور مشترکہ تحقیقی منصوبوں میں تعاون میں اضافہ عالمی صحت کی دیکھ بھال میں بہتری کے نئے مواقع پیدا کر سکتا ہے۔ ڈاکٹر حافظ محمد آصف اور انہوئی یونیورسٹی آف چائنیز میڈیسن کے صدر اور دونوں اداروں کے سینئر حکام اور بین الاقوامی ٹیموں کے درمیان ایک اعلیٰ سطحی میٹنگ بھی ہوئی۔ میٹنگ کے دوران دونوں یونیورسٹیوں نے مشترکہ تحقیقی منصوبوں فیکلٹی اور طلباء کے تبادلے کے پروگرام خصوصی تربیتی اقدامات مشترکہ تعلیمی سرگرمیوں اور روایتی ادویات میں جدت پر مبنی تعاون پر توجہ مرکوز کرتے ہوئے باہمی تعاون کے فریم ورک کو حتمی شکل دی۔ دونوں اداروں نے پاکستان اور چین کے درمیان علمی سائنسی اور تحقیقی تعلقات کو مضبوط بنانے کے لیے اپنے عزم کا اظہار کیا اور اس شراکت داری کو شواہد پر مبنی روایتی ادویات اور جدید صحت کی دیکھ بھال کی جدت کے فروغ کے لیے ایک اہم سنگ میل کے طور پر تسلیم کیا۔ ڈاکٹر حافظ محمد آصف نے کہا کہ پاکستان کے قیمتی ادویاتی پودوں کے وسائل کو چین کی جدید سائنسی مہارت اور تکنیکی صلاحیتوں سے جوڑ کر صحت کی دیکھ بھال کی نئی ایجادات تیار کی جا سکتی ہیں جن سے نہ صرف دونوں ممالک بلکہ عالمی برادری کو بھی فائدہ پہنچے گا۔ یہ کامیاب دورہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی آف بہاولپور کی بڑھتی ہوئی بین الاقوامی شناخت، تحقیقی عمدگی کے عزم اور عالمی تعلیمی شراکت داری کو بڑھانے کے عزم کی عکاسی کرتا ہے۔ یہ پاکستان اور چین کے درمیان روایتی ادویات ادویاتی پودوں کی تحقیق مصنوعی ذہانت سائنسی اختراعات اور اعلیٰ تعلیم کے شعبوں میں تعاون کو مزید مضبوط بنانے کی جانب ایک اہم قدم ہے۔
