Prof. Dr. Shazia Anjum, Dean Faculty of Chemical and Biological Sciences, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur while talking to media representatives at Abbasia Campus today said that the maintaining sanctity and respect of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur is the responsibility of all sections of the society. On the direction of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar, all the employees, students are united for the sanctity and protection of this institution. Investigation committees are working at different levels on behalf of the government. Everyone should wait for the results of these inquiry committees and no one should be held guilty before the announcement of inquiry reports. Similarly, the protection of 27000 female students studying in this university is the responsibility of the entire society. Unverified and baseless allegations and stories on social media and other media are painful for all of us. This is the reason why women teachers, employees and students today appeal to all stakeholders through this media to show realism and play their active role for the safety and dignity of Jamia instead of believing in blind propaganda. Women teachers, employees and students will also organize a special walk on Monday to highlight the sanctity of the university.

پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شازیہ انجم ڈین فیکلٹی آف کیمیکل اینڈ بائیولوجیکل سائنسز اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور نے آج عباسیہ کیمپس میں میڈیا نمائندوں سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کا تقدس اور احترام معاشرے کے تمام طبقات کی ذمہ داری ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ حالیہ واقعات انتہائی افسوسناک ہیں لیکن چند لوگوں پر الزام کی سزا پورے ادارے اور اس سے وابستہ ہزاروں ملازمین اور طلباء وطالبات کو دینا کہاں کا انصاف ہے۔ وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نوید اختر کی ہدایت پر تمام ملازمین، طلباء وطالبات اس ادارے کی حرمت اور تحفظ کے لیے یکجا ہیں۔ حکومت کی جانب سے مختلف سطح پر تحقیقاتی کمیٹیاں کام کر رہی ہیں۔ سبھی کو ان تحقیقاتی کمیٹیوں کے نتائج کا انتظار کرنا چاہیے اور کسی کو بھی مجرم نہیں ٹھہرانا چاہیے۔ اسی طرح اس یونیورسٹی میں پڑھنے والی 27 ہزار طالبات کا تحفظ پورے معاشرے کی ذمہ داری ہے۔ سوشل میڈیا اوردیگر میڈیا پر بلاتصدیق اور بے سروپا الزامات اور کہانیاں ہم سب کے لیے تکلیف دہ ہیں۔ یہی وجہ ہے کہ آج خواتین اساتذہ، ملازمین اور طالبات اس میڈیا کے ذریعے تمام اسٹیک ہولڈرز سے اپیل کرتی ہیں کہ حقیقت پسندی کا مظاہرہ کریں اور اندھا دھند پروپیگنڈا پر یقین کرنے کی بجائے جامعہ کے تحفظ اور وقار کے لیے اپنا فعال کردار ادا کریں۔ خواتین اساتذہ، ملازمین اور طالبات یونیورسٹی کے تقدس کو اجاگر کرنے کے لیے بروز سوموار ایک خصوصی واک کا بھی اہتمام کریں گی
